From our founder @NateVegh: Very grateful to have attended the Global Hydrogen Production Technologies (HyPT) Conference at the University of Toronto this week alongside Professor Hong Guo and two incredibly accomplished senior colleagues from our research group. It was a fascinating experience to listen to deep discussions and presentations on the state of the art of hydrogen production, photocatalysis, materials science, and energy technologies. What struck me most was witnessing how the frontier of science is truly built: world experts gathered in one room discussing open problems, debating ideas, and collectively pushing into the unknown to expand human knowledge. That was genuinely exciting to see firsthand. I also had the opportunity to present some of my recent work on LatticeMind, developed at Nanoacademic Technologies Inc., an AI agentic framework designed to automate and validate multistep density functional theory (DFT) workflows for materials research. Mirror image (two) 30 x 30 cm oil on canvas and oil on ink wash paper fused to canvas The Eyes Have It are from Matt Vegh's first international group exhibition at the Atrium in Tae Koo Li, Chengdu. They are some of his earliest works and have been housed in the main studio gallery in Chengdu since 2016. As such, they are an important collectible set from his pre-metallics era and also perhaps the most beautiful set of mirror-image experimental works that he did from the very beginning of his career.

Kevin O'Leary explains the insane reality of finding a 160 million dollar original Picasso hanging above a toilet. During a formal lunch at a castle, he found an original oil painting right over the sink. The owner told him her husband used to buy a painting a week for "500 francs whatever it took for his girlfriend and him to pay their rent" because Picasso was broke. He points out the crazy math of holding "the piece uniques" over time. Buying direct from Picasso back then for hundreds of francs turned into an asset where "That thing's worth 160 million bucks now." He notes that securing "that original Picasso oil or the original oil Warhol" is where the real money is made. When you hold those unique assets, "Even though you paid $10 million for it it's gonna worth be worth 25 million 10 years later."

Mosaic #2 (Copper Collection) Mosaic #1 of the Copper Collection was acquired by Sichuan Painter He Gong at Matt Vegh's "Hidden Gem' Solo Exhibition at the prestigious Chengdu IFS. #2 was acquired by another well-known Sichuan artist Cui Zhi Zhong in the summer of 2017.

Floral Triptych (Yellow Green) In the summer of 2018 Matt Vegh began creating the next evolution of his Four Seasons Abstracts with his Floral Abstracts (Floral Triptych subsets) which were very popular with Chengdu Teahouse owners. He sold 102 oil paintings in 2018.

@ArtStrA_ In 2019, I sold 165 original works of art and then Covid slapped me down the next year to 75! dayum! I do have to get back to making some more of these Triptychs. They were very well received.

San Xing Dui Bronze Mask 2016 60 x 120 cm oil, metallic acrylic and sand on canvas The San Xing Dui Bronze Mask is a Museum-quality treasure and one of Matt Vegh's core collection pieces, which he began painting in 2016 and completed just prior to his first solo exhibition at the Chengdu IFS "Hidden Gem" Exhibition in 2017 where he started his incredible sales trajectory. The San Xing Dui Bronze Mask debuted at this show, but was not for sale. It is a behemoth of a piece weighing over 22 pounds, as it is constructed over a long period of time with layer upon layer upon layer of oil paint interspersed with sand and metallic acrylics. After a decade, it is probably still not fully cured to the core of the Elephant Tusks. Matt Vegh has a long history with the San Xing Dui Museum. He has published a graphic novel series in China about San Xing Dui in 2005-2006, twice optioned his sci-fi screenplay trilogy SXD: Middle Kingdom (it was on the cover of the Hollywood Reporter (Cannes Daily No.1) in 2015 and Matt Vegh, along with Yi Nan, loaned 10 paintings to the San Xing Dui Museum in 2016-2017 and also displayed his Jinsha Sacrifice painting along with his Temples of AI painting (in collab with his son Nathaniel Vegh) in the museum as well. The San Xing Dui Museum Director personally collected and owns Matt Vegh's early work. The ancient Shu Civilization Jinsha Museum, the calling card Museum for the city of Chengdu, officially supported Matt Vegh's Zodiac Legacy Exhibition in early 2026 and gave him the unprecedented permission to use the copyrighted, national symbol of the Golden Sunbird in 3 of his painted works.
