@conroyherald It would be nice to have a reverse view to be sure of that. How much leverage could benson possibly be putting on mcavoy while weighing 30 lbs less and skating at nearly a 45 degree angle to mcavoy. Must be a really strong lad lol.

Nobody should give anyone a two-hander but I’m hoping you hadn’t watched the replay of a pretty clear slew foot when you posted this. McAvoy deserves a fine and probably a game but the DPOS has suspended guys for slew footing, which is an attempt to injure with the series over

Where was Benson’s skate? Behind McAvoy’s. That’s a slew foot, which is particularly dangerous when player is full bore on a puck retrieval. Throw in game situation — DoPS won’t, but I will — and it was clearly a cheap, dirty play by Benson. And no, that doesn’t absolve slash.

@conroyherald Get real with thinking that benson play was suspendible. There is no leverage on the upper body. They are tied up with each other from the blue line. The ref sees the trip with the skate and calls it. The play happens many feet from the boards, too.

This yrs success wasnt b/c of 1 player, it was a Team push that was led by Ruff the HC Hes Worthy of being on Mt Rushmore
