Bungie is generally woke as fuck, sure, but I wouldn’t call Marathon a game for “modern audiences.” Thinking it’s going be another Concord at this point seems out of touch. Will it do well enough to save the company? Hard to tell. But it’s clearly capturing some attention, judging by Steam charts.

Current new problem with static power deltas is that 500 to 550 is basically pointless Other existing problems are - No way to get high stat exotic armor - Conquests dont have good loot - No replayable endgame experience with GMs being gone Can solve all of this at the same time by making a farmable HARD (talking old grandmaster difficulty) weekly conquest that you can only enter if you are 550 that drops tier 4 stat roll exotic armor (and exotic cypher unlocks tuninng slot), a conquest specific armor set + set bonus, strike specific loot, and low % drop chance rare cosmetics (1 emote, shader, ship, ghost, sparrow per season)

@Kujay_ Bungie has totally forgotten what makes their game fun. This new Tyson Grind era has erased my desire to play. At this point, Sony needs to dissolve Bungie and start over with competent leadership, or they are just going keep running the IP into the ground.

To put the cores needed to infuse into perspective, dismantling a 400 Power item gives 633 cores. Meaning dismantling 12 pieces of 400 Gear (633 x 12 = 7596) is just shy of the 7744 cores for one infusion. To fully infuse an armor build, you must dismantle 62 pieces of 400 Gear!

After grinding to 401 Power on my Titan, I decided to swap over to Hunter. It takes 7,744 Unstable Cores to infuse one piece of 200 Power Armor up to 401 Power. Even with 50,190 cores, that means I can only infuse 6 armor pieces before I run out of cores... WTF is this system!
