However it flies, swishes, curves, breaks, rolls, bends, or bounces it always feels better when it seems true. D1 was a long time ago. 10+ yrs as NCAA official.

I don’t think people realize how much healthcare costs are driving big companies to fire and not hire. It costs them $30k per family, per year for premiums and care. Most of that goes to the massive, vertically integrated insurance companies that send weekly bills that no one reviews in details. And it doesn’t include the company overhead to deal with it all. It’s usually the 2nd largest expense after payroll. Which is insane It’s far easier to blame AI than it is to blame Healthcare costs. Want to increase jobs, wages and improve affordability for every American ? Break up the biggest insurance companies. Make divest non insurance companies. They don’t need thousands of subsidiaries. That’s how they game and abuse the system and increase costs for all of us. Call your senator and tell them to support the BreakUp Big Medicine Bill by @HawleyMO and @SenWarren.

@CoreyClayton @TheBallKnows @PROreferees Hip and should appear to be clearly over the line. Because of the angle, none of us can be truly sure about distances or location of body parts in relation to the line.

@andrew_wiebe @TheBallKnows @PROreferees St. Clair handles the ball in front of his body, when it's outside the 18-yd box, then pulls it behind his body into the box (or at least, on the line, which is in). DOGSO Red Card. It has to be reviewed. And the ground grass shading helps with the decision clarity.

@TheBallKnows @CoreyClayton @PROreferees A screen grab is like 0.01% of the context for an AR in this case. The AR should be tracking final defender as the first and most important decision is offside on the ball in behind, which is what happens. IT IS NOT PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE TO RUN AS FAST AS THE BALL.

@CoreyClayton @PROreferees @andrew_wiebe correct... my attempt was to note how far back the AR already was (behind 2nd to last defender) and how VAR not going to snitch as AR's can regularly get caught on a bing-bing-bing ball play. We've all seen how a ball goes over the end-line b/c AR was out of position.

@tambi021 Agree and as you saw, AR is 5-7 yds behind last defender (and additional 2-3 behind ball) to have good line of site of the 18. Over my yrs I recall seeing an offside ruling by VAR that called down to field, but I do not ever recall seeing VAR call down a use of hands like this.

@herculezg Herc or anyone, I did not see the game but appreciating post. Because the sub was not yet on the field did they have to play with 10, or was it ruled that he had been beckoned?

How stupid do you have to be to get a red card for pushing the 4th official as you get substituted. Idiota.

A young fan showed up at Bayern’s hotel with a gift for Vincent Kompany… and the coach couldn’t resist the wholesome moment. 🥹 He ended up giving the kid his own jacket in return. What a gesture. ❤️
