A judge has granted these 15 athletes in Ohio their injunction, permitting them an additional year of eligibility. The case was filed in the wake of the new age-based, 5-year policy. The injunction also grants the players an ability to transfer now outside of the portal window.

@KozakJon @notawrestler_x The core of the argument is the process that USAW put in place for the U23 world team (it’s an abomination lol).
To have a tournament called “U23 Nationals” and not use that result in any official manner of selecting the world team is… a bad choice.

Where did Barr have the chance at a H2H?
Hypotheticals are what USA Wrestling established in the process, so it's relevant. If they choose Barr, they think he'll do better against the world.

Josh Barr did NOT enter the process to be the 97kg rep. It would be an abomination to choose him.

The other side to this argument is the process to make the U23 world team was published last November. U23 national champ is never listed as determining the U23 world team. Only the senior trials. McDanel didn't participate in the sr trials process-only Barr and Rademacher did.

@KozakJon Of the 3, only Rademacher entered the official process and was very close to earning it. McDanel at least wrestled at the weight and won a tournament. It blows my mind they would even consider Barr. An abomination!!
