@TheBaxAttacks That’s a really good question, I’m assuming $1000 for flights, $800ish for a hotel (I would go for a week), and then $300ish for a ticket?Then with food and drinks and whatever else it probably end up around $2500 total? so not cheap!

You know, ever since I started playing Star Citizen about 2 years ago, I've always heard that Drake ships are made with duct tape, chewing gum and hopes and dreams. Yet, I'd never see evidence of the duct tape (I've either not looked that hard or its just not that obvious). Well just now, I'm going through one of my Ironclads and wouldn't you know it...I finally found that fabled Drake Duct Tape! Can anyone guess where I found this? Now that everything is Basically Crystal clear, once the shock and anger wears off to some (if it does) what are you going to do in the verse now that we are all basically starting from Zero (regardless of pledged ships) we have a chance to play the game as partially intended and work together and help each other build up. We have experience, and knowledge, we know what is where and how to get it. Try not to stay pissed. Move forwards and be more efficient and helpful to your fellow backers! Pirates, bobs, pvpers, Solo Joe's, Mil Simmers, low flyers and yes even your content creator frens! Most important of all... Enjoy your time in the verse. Don't Make it a rat race. There will be bugs undoubtedly and frustrations I'm sure but we choose what to dwell on. Time once wasted never comes back. Fly safe fellow Citizens o7 #StarCitizen

It doesn't matter that it is an alpha. CIG can say that it is, but they treat it as a live service game and introduce grind to earn systems that require you to invest your time to get some kind of payoff. When that work is tossed aside, you're going to lose goodwill with your players.
