I rate Ndiaye. Ndiaye just like Amad is a close control monster, hard to dispossess, good with 1v1s and keeps the game going, just like Amad BUT When you want to win great things, you need attackers with elite ball striking, willingness to take voluminous shots and risks, high level of creativity, numbers hungry and a certain level of selfishness. For example: Ronaldo, Bale, Benzema Messi, Suarez, Neymar Rooney, Tevez, Ronaldo Salah, Firmino*, Mane Aguero, Mahrez, Sterling Yamal, Lewa, Raphina. And so on. When you are ready to win big trophies, Amad and Ndiaye are not the attackers you make your first teamers.. You get my point now??

Fair on Mbeumo/Cunha being hits - that's exactly the high-floor success I'm saying these signings can deliver. My point is more that Ndiaye types give you reliable depth and instant contribution, but their ceiling is probably solid starter level rather than potential superstar. We need to mix in some proper high-upside risks too, or we just keep patching instead of elevating the squad long-term.
