Understand the club have been burnt by long term contracts before, but we can’t continue to offer everyone one year deals, it massively narrows the pool of good managers you can get, sets yourself up for failure from the off and makes it almost impossible to build for the future.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on Isaak Davies? Done well out on loan in admittedly a worse league but shining against some big opponents. IMO, ease him in, give him a good amount of starts and a proper chance. Wouldn’t say he’s a guaranteed starter yet though. Thoughts?

@Coakley85 Can’t say I know for sure, but I’d assume a target man striker will be priority, someone who can win an header and hold up the ball. Then maybe a counter attacking style like we’ve seen but hopefully with more killer balls and fluidity in attack. More pace is needed asap.

@TheBluebirdsPod Having seen 40 games what kind of style would you expect from Bulut next season then?

16 points clear from relegation 8 points from Play offs A big away win against a side who’ve won 4 on the bounce (one against a prem side) System and style will come but Bulut can get results from this side. He has to be given a chance to progress next season.

Defence won that game, hung on really well and battled hard at a really difficult place to go so fair play Not enough to warrant any talk of a new deal, again the football is only good in bursts and spells. Provide those spells more consistently next 6 games then we can talk

@mjccfc @petewdavies1 Tanner and Colwill has played more then ever under Bulut, remember in the spaces at the start of the year most said to let Tanner go. His drop of form is fully on him he’s had a lot of chances

@TheBluebirdsPod @petewdavies1 and in fairness only one man signed Meite and Diedhiou and still constantly brings them on, likewise starting Bowler Tanner is there and would relish a chance likewise as far down as a Morgan Wigley within the academy

@petewdavies1 @henrysaye @mjccfc Scored 2 goals last season, big Grant fan but he’s not a striker and clearly been off it in front of goal for a while

@Coakley85 Exactly that, cant necessarily have one without the other, but Bulut deserves another season to find his style and make his signings with no embargo

Have to ask this question… Which is more important results or style of play? Bulut has got results but doesn’t seem to have won most Cardiff fans over with his style of play.

@petewdavies1 @mjccfc Never said a 20 goal a season striker, but being given a front line that scored a grand total of 5 goals last season isn’t exactly going to create a exciting style of play.

@TheBluebirdsPod @mjccfc As Matt says there’s plenty of managers that have had much tougher jobs and have performed well. It’s so fucking boring too.

@mjccfc Hard to create your style of play when your not given the tools your asking for, wanted a goal scoring striker, asked for Kieffer or Nasyir and got Famara, wanted another winger, never got one. Wednesday signed two key attackers that suited their style, it’s worked for them.

@TheBluebirdsPod managers in worse situations than us have formed a style of play in less time. Look at Cifuentes at QPR from an Ainsworth squad and Rohl and Wednesday from a Xisco squad
