Now that the dust has settled - failure to beat Australia & India home and away (let's be honest we're not winning 3 of the next 4 tests , the tv umpires will see to that even if a below vintage Australia doesn't) can only mean one thing - McCullum has failed his job objective . Baz out . Been some really entertaining stuff among the rubbish , but it hasn't led to us beating any team of note . Key out even more so . My choice would be Jonathan Trott as new coach . For what it's worth i think the captain has been generally very good under this regime

Good finish after a really crappy, scrappy last quarter where we simply couldn’t run any phases. Third quarter though was super impressive and that’s something to take away from the game. Attack still looks too clunky at times, mind. Brilliant seeing Ches get recognition too.
