Jesus christ, people! How is this even remotely funny or just? Killing somebody because they nicked your handbag? It’s a despicable crime but being entertained by watching a dude get murdered is really the despicable part. What on earth happened to people that this it’s now ok with this sh!t being shared online? I don’t get it. How is this acceptable? How can two officers turn up to this guy, throwing shadow punches, shouting and yelling and just simply walk away? You said yourself that he’s likely taken something illegal and I’m saying that could make him unpredictable, yet as he gets louder, both officers retreat back to their car and leave. How is his behaviour acceptable? Anybody passing him in that street would be anxious as bare chested men shouting loony in the streets tend to be the same ones that act out with knives and end up killing somebody. At what point does his behaviour become illegal? After he’s stabbed somebody? Or after he’s walked into the road and gotten himself hurt? Where’s these officers duty of care? He’s either unhinged, unwell or under the influence. Regardless of the cause it’s not acceptable to be left there shouting and being (mock) aggressive. Why aren’t people told to stop and move on? When did this kind of random sh!t become the norm? I’m not accusing this guy of being a danger to anybody but this is not sane and sensible behaviour. So why are you just laughing it off? The whole place becomes a cesspit not from a gigantic dump but by people taking little craps on the pavement and nobody telling them to stop. Soon there’s nowhere left to tread without stepping in sh!t.

I agree. He acted completely over the top and was bordering on being abusive. At no point did I condone his actions. Having said that, these young females were completely out of line and were both aggressive and obnoxious in equal measures. Yet everybody has been excusing their behaviour because of the copper’s. Those girls were not victims of male aggression. They were refusing to do as they were told and began escalating the entire situation. The police get all kinds of insults and accusations thrown at them and have to stand there and take it because the ones in the top tiers are cowards and are pandering to all the political bullshit must be extremely difficult. To be an adult, regardless of gender, and have a bunch of foul-mouthed brats lashing out and screaming insults at you would make most people angry. People tend to forget that coppers are humans, too, and do not deserve this from anybody, let alone a bunch of cheap girls dressed up like adults yet behaving like spoilt toddlers. People on here seem to think that no child should be shouted down or punished. Yet they then yell, “where were the parents.” when some 15 or 17 yr old commits terrible crimes or bursts into a dance studio and starts slashing at little kids. They want adults to molly coddle brats and allow children to express themselves. They’re just not so keen on it when they grow a bit bigger and start expressing themselves with knives. Most of the decent public are sick of it. The police are sick of it. The poor parents that have buried their kids through knife crime are sick of it. Children should never be allowed to scream insults in the face of police officers. It sets the bar of what’s acceptable far too low and then they wonder why we’ve got feral teenagers killing each other.
