@bloodx5rmk @MrDude079 Exactly. If you’re disabled in America you have the right to hit people with your wheelchair, pull knives and air guns out in people and face zero consequences whatsoever.

@MrDude079 I’d love to see crackers in the comment section explain how he was chimping out and then he deserved to get shot when he’s disabled

A man shot a man in a wheelchair and claimed self-defense. The victim in the wheelchair was pulling out an airsoft gun.

@TheBreakingRprt @Majick666 @UltraDane All I’m going to say, you can’t tell someone how they feel when being aggressively approached. Nobody can determine that besides that individual. Everyone’s threshold is different. YOU might not feel threatened by someone following you and approaching you but somebody else can.

You’re not understanding. People don’t have the right to just intimidate you out of public places…the point is very simple. Neither of those arguing with each-other are in the right…but also according to the law of SC neither have to flee the public area. Basically meaning that just because you are arguing with a mentally ill person that doesn’t mean you have a duty to leave the area but also just because you have to be there to pay for things, get gas, etc. doesn’t mean you still are not facing a true threat. The real issue here is more about him pulling out a firearm over an argument and not truly because felt threatened…he himself could have just left but chose to escalate with a firearm for intimidation, not true self defense.…once he did that he forfeits his right to safety because he has shown he is willing to threaten people with guns over silly arguments in public. The cop doesn’t have to be uniform to perform self defense measures as does anyone else since anyone could legally defend the public from a mentally ill person pulling guns out and making threats. You’re taking issue with something where their is no real issue you’re just allow your suicidal empathy to take over. Some people experience it chronically but most eventually grow out of it around early adulthood. Eventually as you get older you won’t prioritize the sensibilities and outcomes of dangerous unstable people and empathize more with people that are not causing problems and just want to be left alone.

@TheBreakingRprt @Majick666 @UltraDane Then why did the guy from outside follow the man into the store trying to keep up the bullshit? Not only did he go inside the store, he steadily approached him despite the earlier warnings. Then as the guy in red is leaving, he was shot by a cop not in uniform.

@shitcoinlord @Majick666 @UltraDane You know that’s not the situation in the video. You know it all over arguing over stupid nonsense. You’re drawing up a false equivalency. You know he didn’t pull his gun out as a means for self defense, it was for intimidation over an argument. You’re just pretending.

@TheBreakingRprt @Majick666 @UltraDane So if I feel threatened by someone following me and walking up towards me aggressively and I pull my gun as a warning to said person, the police have the right to shoot me no questions asked because I have a gun? Or is it only like that for black men?

Someone pretending to be an actual defense attorney actually said this…if they somehow are a public defender… God help us all.

@TheBreakingRprt @MarcWatkinsEsq @Mo30289082 "You trying to lose your life tonight?" is not a threat. Even if holding a gun. And even if a threat, you'd be hard pressed to prove the man it was communicated to believed it would be carried out because he continued advancing towards and speaking to the man saying it.

I am announcing I’m voting Democrat now. Not because I am a party-line Democrat. I’m not. Democrats are often strategically weak, donor-captured, too invested in virtue signaling, too trusting of institutions that have not earned that trust, and terrible at game theory. But Republicans are objectively worse. They explode deficits while pretending to be fiscally responsible. They pass corporate tax cuts and then tell the middle and lower classes there is no money for health care, schools, infrastructure, or basic stability. They widen the wealth gap while branding themselves as the party of working people. They start or enable unnecessary wars, then wrap the consequences in patriotism. They gut voting rights, gerrymander districts, suppress voters, and try to entrench minority rule. Trump turned the party into a toxic lightning rod for authoritarianism, corruption, institutional capture, and contempt for democratic restraint. So no, I don’t vote Democrat because I worship Democrats. I vote Democrat because Republicans have to be politically defeated. This is not party loyalty. It is triage.

You’re not even arguing anything you’re just pretending that walking to a door = no ongoing threat. You have no real argument. It’s as if you’re not an actual attorney, just pretending. The thing is though you may actually be one because you operate like the ones I’ve known that loose their license after a few years but as you already know just because someone becomes an attorney doesn’t mean their a good one…

@YvesofKermartin @TheBreakingRprt @Mo30289082 It's always nteresting to me how lay folks w/out an ounce of education, training &/or experience want to "argue" w/actual lawyers. I wonder do other professionals have to deal w/such ignorance. Imagine someone trying to argue w/engineer the tensile strength of steel

And still the undercover cop isn’t in prison. You’re wrong on this…you’re just wrong. I’m sorry…but walking towards a door after making threats and pulling a gun out does not except you from being considered a threat in a gas station…people still have to go out to their cars….the guy would still be there. He is still arguing and threatening. You’re just pretending. Something lawyers do all the time.

And this is why defense lawyers like you are just evil…. its because of people like you normal, regular law abiding citizens have to be concerned with technical bullsh*t when they find themselves in situations like this. like if threats against them were laid out as questions then they shouldn’t have taken it as a real threat or if he didn’t point the gun at rather than it just being by their side 😒. It’s people like you that make normal good people second guess whether they should defend themselves in a life or death situation because they know people like you will go after them and defend their attackers….that is of course if they are even alive after the situation. You protect the evil and the stupid and demonize those who just want to be left alone or do the right thing.

@TheBreakingRprt @MarcWatkinsEsq @Mo30289082 You really have no idea how many communicating threats charges I've gotten dismissed by a judge as a matter of law because the "threat" was phrased as a question, or because the victim clearly didn't feel threatened.

You’re again just arguing that it’s effectively legal to threaten people in public with guns as long as you’re doing it while walking towards an exit and that it should be illegal to defend yourself in this situation.…you’re pretending like you don’t understand this and I really don’t know why. I’m sorry but I’m going to have to tell you this: You do not have the right to threaten people or pull out your gun and threaten people in public for no reason and expect no one to do anything about it. You can’t use walking to the exit as a loop hole for being a public danger and just doing whatever you feel like. If you act like a legit threat to the public then said person will be dealt with as a threat. Stop the excuses, stop the pretending.

@TheBreakingRprt @Mo30289082 IF the cop pulled his gun the second the deceased pulled his, there's a valid argument of defense of self or others. BUT, once the man LEFT, there was no longer a threat. He wasn't going off on EVERYone, just one person. There's nuance which, as a lay person, U can't grasp

You’re either pretending or retarded. Yes…when someone pulls out a gun and says “You trying to lose your life tonight” that is literally no different than him saying “You want me to k*ll you?” Also you have to understand the implications of what you’re saying are: Basically because you think the guy he was threatening may not have thought he was going to get shot that then just makes this situation…legal? 😕 less dangerous or threatening to others around them? A threat is a threat regardless if those arguing see it as one. People have the right to stop lethal threats even if they are bystanders like in this situation. NC law is very clear on this and already what I showed you clears this as defense of others/self defense. We simply just can’t read the minds of mentally ill criminals. I’m pretty sure you’re just trolling because you can’t be serious.

@1FlattyPatty @InsaneReality You’re right. In the US we have the right to pull guns out and threaten people with them as long as we are in a doorway. If anyone decides to defend themselves in that moment, they are in the wrong and should be jailed.

Stop the pretending. The guy was literally threatening people verbally and pulled out what looked like a read handgun. You’re just pretending you have a higher understanding of this but in reality everyone knows it’s illegal and justifiable to use lethal force against someone pulling out what looks like real gun and threatening to k*ll people. You know it, I know it, everyone knows it.

@Majick666 @UltraDane You’re right. You’re absolutely right. It is an American right to threaten people when you get mad in public with a gun as long as you’re doing it while walking towards an exit. If anyone retaliates against you with deadly force they are in the wrong and should be arrested.

@UltraDane I’m pro 2A, pro self defense, pro conceal/constitutional carry, but this isn’t a justified shooting. Dude may have pulled his gun first, but he was walking out the door and not escalating the engagement. Just a bunch of tough talk going down while he was walking out.
