Just got out of a midnight showing for the Mario Galaxy movie and I gotta say it was such a massive disappointment. The pacing was so fast that you couldn’t appreciate any given scene and the writing was a total mess. The movie was made for people to mindlessly point at a screen.

Okay I have what I consider a fair question.
I don't really care about Marathon or Crimson Desert ratings as individual games. There's bound to be outliers.
My question is why do we consistently see a pattern where reviewers are giving agenda driven games far higher ratings than they deserve?
Everyone knows the obvious games Concord, Dragonage Veilguard, Avowed and so on...
The individual reviews don't really matter. It's purely about the trend. That's also why there was such an outrage about Crimson Desert. Nobody would have cared if it had been a standalone outlier.

It's fine to disagree with scores. That's what they're there for.
But I promise you someone who busted their ass to review 2 games requiring 150 hours between them for a rate that comes out to less than minimum wage is not part of a conspiracy to make you feel triggered.

Eu gosto muito do Marathon, acho que isso já ficou claro pra quem me acompanha.
Justamente por isso, é estranho ver um endgame lançado com uma expectativa tão grande, com a própria Bungie pedindo para que os portais de review avaliassem o jogo só depois disso, e, no fim, o resultado ter sido uma queda de cerca de 27% nos players simultâneos diários apenas uma semana depois.
Ao mesmo tempo, é legal ver que o game conquistou uma comunidade engajada e estável, que sempre volta.
