Yeee, I'll just say that Resident Evil Requiem reeks of some late dev rewrites. Village had a similar thing happen, but it didn't stick out as much honestly.

Yes, there is an obvious "the kid is more big of a resident evil fan than 95% of the fandom" joke, but you gotta think, if a kid is able to enjoy the game with tank controls then why don't some of you. It takes literal 5 minutes to figure out, hell when i played re1 for the first time on my mum's samsung j2 via epsxe i was enjoying quite abit. Sometimes you gotta get out of the comfort zone of modernity that games of today set and let yourself experiment, and it will help you to not larp too lmao.
