$HOOD Wow. Robinhood told this guy he won the $100,000 grand prize and then they said nope sorry and retracted it.
If it was an honest mistake at least compensate the guy or something. He said he just received $200 in a gold gram? Lol
But if this was truly a glitch in their system, maybe it’s time to scrap all these giveaway and contests and just focus on the brokerage itself?

INSANE!! @RobinhoodApp told me I won a $150,000 Private Jet Vacation. Their own support team confirmed it. Then they called me to say never mind. Here’s what happened. I got an official email from Robinhood today saying I won their January Gold Sweepstakes Grand Prize. The prize was a private jet vacation to Turks and Caicos valued at $150,000. I had until March 27 to redeem it. This seemed too good to be true. So before I got excited, I contacted Robinhood customer support to verify it was legitimate and not a phishing email. I was transferred to a specialist. After reviewing my account, the agent told me: “I am glad to inform you that you’re a winner! Congratulations! So thrilled for your big win!” The agent also confirmed the email I received was a legitimate email from Robinhood. I then told the agent I hadn’t received the separate redemption email from Merkle/HelloWorld that was required to claim the prize. They escalated the issue for me. Shortly after, I got a phone call from Robinhood telling me the email was sent by mistake. I didn’t actually win the Grand Prize. I won a 1 gram gold bar worth approximately $201. According to Robinhood’s own official sweepstakes terms and conditions, the Grand Prize winner has the option of accepting an alternate cash prize of $100,000 instead of the trip. So Robinhood sent me the Grand Prize email. Their support team verified it. They confirmed the email was legitimate. They escalated my claim. And then they called me back to say it was all a mistake and I actually won a $201 gold bar. That is a $100,000 difference. The official email was wrong. The support agent who verified my account and confirmed the win was wrong. The confirmation that the email was legitimate was wrong. The escalation was pointless. Four separate points of failure before someone caught it. I use Robinhood every single day. You can see it in my charts I post. I’ve been a loyal Gold member. And this is how you treat your customers? This is the reputation you guys want? @LeCodeBusiness @wallstengine This is what most people don’t realize when they pay these high credit card fees and don’t do the math. No annual fee and 1.5% cash back is the better route for 80% of Americans but 46% of Americans carry credit card debt anyway. I’m sure Amex will get customers from this.

@wallstengine At a $295 fee, you need to spend over $15k just to break even compared to a standard no-fee card with 1.5% back.
The actual arbitrage lives in the 5% travel multiplier for high-volume consultants who are already booking through Amex anyway.

A mistake I made this year was not selling $BABA at $170. I purchased <$100 in 2025. Told myself I’d sell anything above $150 for a short term gain but got greedy. I don’t like holding Chinese stocks long term and $BABA is a prime example. Still holding at these levels..

Fintech has gotten slammed and probably won’t recover until rates are lowered but that provides opportunities. Buying $NU under $14, $SOFI under $15.

I feel like I haven’t posted about any new stocks in a while but my favorite opportunity is $SN under $100. A market leader that continues to separate from the pack. Anything under a 20 PE is a blessing for long term investors.

I'm doing some GLP1 research on HIMS and Ro again, and then another source outside of these two to further my knowledge of $NVO & $LLY
So far...
1) I have exited the @wearehims funnel - too many damn questions. @AndrewDudum
2) Ro - Asked two questions and took me to a selection screen (much better experience)
Not impressed with Hims yet again.
If you remember, this is the second time I have exited the funnel at Hims. I did some research on Boner pills last summer to evaluate $HIMS, Ro, and Amazon One Medical.
Maybe I am not the target customer, but I like to browse offerings without a million questions. May dump my $HIMS stock tomorrow. Just show me the offerings and let me browse!

@himshouse Them willing to sell a pill that doesn’t work and got $HIMS under a DOJ investigation is a horrible look. This is the same company $HIMS uses for their compounded GLP-1s.
