@SaadYousuf126 stankoven fits the carolina system way better than raantanen would. it was a good trade for both sides imo. like yea mikko is far the better player but sometimes the fit is just as important

the deal netted Dallas Mikko Rantanen, so there won’t be much second-guessing, and understandably so. But man, from an on-ice and off-ice perspective, there wouldn’t be a single player on the Stars that would have been easier for fans to root for.
