Louisville’s match-up with Michigan State will be their 4th NCAA Tournament meeting with Sparty in the last 20 years. That ties Duke-Michigan State and Kansas-North Carolina for the most in that span. Days like today make me miss VillenHD.

This isn’t trash talk. I genuinely feel bad for South Florida. Arguably the worst color combination in college sports. It’s certainly something that has kept their athletic department from elevating.

Optics aren’t great here. This clearly isn’t the same as being able to go 100% in a real game, but he’s already been shut down for the whole weekend. If there was any chance he’d play, if Louisville advances, wouldn’t he be resting? Is this to give him at least some type of NCAA Tournament experience in front of fans since he’s not going to play in a game?
