@DynamoSuperX Only 2 others? Eve, Debbie, Donald, William, Amber, even Mark's principal. And that's just off the top of my head

@asa_asheee @e_fosa08 No, they would have to practice their skills at normal speed until it was completely muscle memory and instinct. I think it could work, but they would have to work completely different from the Flash or Quicksilver. More short bursts of sprints instead of marathons

@TheCatMom @e_fosa08 So when they start running does their perception of time speed up as well? Otherwise they’re cooked

After Red Rush died, why did Invincible just abandon speedsters completely?

@e_fosa08 Would be cool to see a speedster who can't perceive time slower. They can move fast as fuck still, but they think in normal speed

His ability to perceive time slower was one of the most interesting powers in the show.

@AdequateEmily My mom and I have been trying to patch up our relationship after not talking for like 2+ years and we've been watching this and Ghibli movies to start. My mom has never been an animation fan but Common Side Effects and Nausicaa changed her mind real quick

It really is the best show on television right now, and putting it next to The Boondocks is…warranted. They’re both two of the best Adult Swim originals to ever air (though for very different reasons as Common Side Effects is more of a trippy dramedy than laugh out loud funny)
ToonHive@ToonHive

‘Common Side Effects’ wins a Peabody Award in the Entertainment category. • First Adult Swim Peabody winner since ‘The Boondocks’ in 2006 • The only animated series in the category to win

@ThatGuyTCald It was better than S2 finale at the very least. I don't know if I'll come back to it as much as S3, but for S3 I only ever watch the Conquest fight and then turn it off

@creepydotorg That’s heartbreaking, shows how little was understood back then and the tragic consequences it had.

This is a 1953 photo of two 4-year-old Australian boys playing in an asbestos sandpit. At the time, very little was known about the devastating effects of asbestos, and people commonly used asbestos sandpits for their children to play in. The boy on the left, Philip Noble, later grew up to become a footballer before dying of mesothelioma at 36. The boy on the right, Ross Munroe, later became a high school principal and also died of mesothelioma at 38.

@guccithealien @djodjeee_ Honestly same, but that's just cuz I was a little underwhelmed after how amazing the first battle was. I think I'm just not a huge fan of the space fights, and at least ep 5 had most of the battle be on a planet

@CharliePengMoji When I was like 16 I was a huge Walking Dead comic fan, and when the show did that awful Negan cliffhanger I decided out of spite to outlive the show. Now I have Invincible to look forward to :)

@HomanderMain They've been setting it up all season. There have been a couple instances of seeing a flash of some characters thoughts before they leap into action. Most notably Nolan getting a flash of the bodies on Viltrum when he learns Thaedus made the Scourge virus

@AsdByte @frayedform Yeah like Nier Automata would be almost perfect if it didn't make you replay the entire first act with a character that's less fun to play

@frayedform It's weird cause the moment to moment gameplay in the newer games are actually quite good but because of the repetition and amount of it, it can get tiring really quick
