I actually agree with the Honorable Mencius Moldbug here—kinda. The Romans had a philosophy that you're never beaten until you accept that you're beaten. The other week I made an effort of encouraging young rightwing men to go to law school, something our civilization desperately needs if its going to survive, and what did I get from ~20% of my replies? "Wah, I'm White, no school will accept me." "Boohoo, lawyers are evil." "Uwu, I can't stand being around leftist foids for a few hours a day because I'm a big damn baby." Virtually none of you participate in local politics despite the fact States have more power than the Federal Government. How many of you have done literally anything beyond casting a ballot to clean the homeless drug addicts off your local streets? When Charles Martel earned his name hammering the Umayyad at Tours he had 20,000 men. I have more than half as many followers on Twitter as Charles Martel had to repel the unstoppable Umayyad Caliphate. There are 18,000 governments in this country: Federal, State, County, Municipal, and so on. There are 90,000 school board seats in this country. There are so many necessary political jobs—whether elected or appointed—that need filled. Enough that if you want one bad enough you can find one. How many of y'all can set aside your pursuit of money and material wealth to serve your people instead? I have roughly 11,000 followers. If we get even 11,000 rightwing young men into law school, 11,000 rightly oriented rightwing people into local politics, 11,000 people onto school boards—that's enough to change the trajectory of this entire country. You. Are. Not. Helpless. What you are is lazy and cowardly. Fix it. Get up off your comfortable ass and get to work on something you can actually reach. If you refuse... Well, then @curtis_yarvin was right and I was wrong. Are you prepared to explain to your ancestors or descendants why you squandered your inheritance?

It’s called war when American cowards wage it. When was the last time Americans actually sent an army into battle against hardened warriors rather than just air striking civilians and infrastructure from a safe distance?

@ChristianHeiens Fascism recognizes this fact probably more than any other modern ideology. The constant dialectic between struggle and entropy is a very palpable theme in fascist thought and writing.

It seems like every ideology has this idea that all forms of conflict in the world are the product of a particular class of evil people, and if we just liquidate that class, we'd eliminate conflict itself and live in a state of perpetual peace and prosperity. Where's the movement that recognizes that conflict is an intrinsic part of existence? Where's the ideology that claims conflict isn't the product of this particular group of enemies or that, but that people will always group themselves into an in-group and an out-group?
