Your graduation marks not merely the completion of the respective academic programs, but the culmination of years of rigorous study, intellectual growth and resilience. As you step forth into the next chapters of your lives, always remember that law is more than a career; it is a calling. Society looks to you to resolve so many social-legal problems and challenges. In the pursuit of your careers and service to society, carry forward the values that have defined your training. Serve with diligence and humility, promote fairness and justice, and defend constitutionalism and the rule of law. We are immensely proud of your achievements and confident in your potential to make meaningful contributions to society. Though you leave our lecture halls, you will always remain part of our academic community. Congratulations once again on this remarkable milestone. Today, I graduate with a Degree of Bachelor of Laws from Makerere University. I stand as evidence that the devil has no hold over a child of the most high God. Glory be unto the Lord.
