David Thompson was born #otd in California, 1909. He worked as a cement chemist and writer. He joined the CPUSA in April 1936. He arrived in Spain on March 7, 1937. He served as an ambulance driver with the Regiment de Tren until he returned to the US on December 15, 1938.
