Toronto is no longer a European city, 5 years ago it was 56% non-european, now it is over 70% non-european and whites are in the minority, Toronto is experiencing white flight, cities like Detroit in the states have experienced it, the Europeans are leaving, I wonder what will happen to those multi-million dollar condos, should be interesting. Toronto is now experiencing almost daily Drive by shootings, home invasions, carjackings, assaults weekly on our subways buses and Street cars, sexual assaults on children and adults in our parks, beatings and muggins, two knife attacks at my granddaughter's school. When I was a teenager I worked at Honest Ed's, Toronto was known as Toronto the good or hogtown, Toronto used to be a peaceful low crime city not anymore, We used to get most of our immigration from Europe which had our values and were easily assimilated into our culture now most of our immigration is coming from third world countries, India Pakistan Bangladesh Sri Lanka etc, they do not have our value system and this is causing problems that you can see almost daily in the news, many of these people are not properly vetted they're just simply allowed into the country, unbelievable. If things don't change I can't see the country lasting, our once peaceful Nation that respected the rule of law and had a vibrant middle class is quickly becoming third world, we are becoming like the countries that they came from and it does not look like a bright future. My opinion for all it's worth.

Tragic. This is perhaps Justin Trudeau’s single biggest failure: turning the developed world’s strongest pro-immigration consensus on its head by wrecking what was once a model immigration system. But blame must be shared with open borders factions of both the business community and the political left, plus several provincial governments. They kept demanding massive increases in levels, and a concurrent lowering of standards.

Multiculturalism is anti-Canadian. Canada has its own culture - because it’s its own nation with its own people and history. We don’t need multiculturalism, we need to celebrate Canadian culture. What happened to “Canada Strong”?
Tablesalt 🇨🇦🇺🇸@Tablesalt13

🚨BREAKING Mark Carney doubles down on multiculturalism and UNDRIP supports them being enshrined in law Of course, UNDRIP is responsible for dozens of people in BC losing senior title to their home.

When you ran for leader, you said China was the number one security risk to Canada. Now you're selling us out. Does it have anything to do with the Chinese loans to Brookfield Asset Management, in which you still have hundreds of millions of dollars in stocks?
Mark Carney@MarkJCarney

Thank you to Premier Li, for the warm welcome to Beijing. Our countries align in many areas, such as clean energy, agriculture, and finance. We focused on how Canada and China can work together to build stronger, more sustainable economies for both our nations.

@acoyne Leave it to a global banker to get basic trade business wrong. No deal is better than a bad deal. Keep status quo, it’s predictable. 🙃

@CutThruTheBias @acoyne Ford is taking the blame but this is all on Carney. He shouldn’t have turned down the latest offer without explaining his reasons to Canadians.

@acoyne ... And it's all Ford's fault. Because Donald Trump has always been predictable. On a serious note, I've heard that the depleted American public service can't keep up with sudden tariff announcements, and they haven't been reliably enforcing all the new tariffs at ports.

@acoyne It was all bullshit. Anyone who has dealt in the export business knew this was coming. There was NO good faith in this. Desperate Americans will table a trade framework with a country in 48 hours. Canada? 6 months of zilch—then a goofy ad & ALL BETS OFF. 🤣

@James_Mc666 @CTVNews Difference was that was theoretical. I have friends who cancelled diving trips cause everything’s dead and whale watchers can’t hear humpbacks singing because there’s too little food.

Same thing said in the 1920's, 1930's 1940's 1950's....... blah blah.... Then in the 70's it was "An ice age is just around the corner", followed by Global warming doom and gloom messages. When the powers, that be, found that the "global warming" narrative wasn't working out too well, the terminology was switched to "Climate change" to cover all weather events ever since be they hot, cold, dry or wet. Yet, here we all are in 2025 listening to our media regurgitating the same 100+ years old climate scam warning.

A new oil pipeline is by far the single biggest way to strengthen the Canadian economy, reduce our dependence on the US, generate hundreds of $ billions of export sales, and create thousands of good paying jobs. It’s about nation building. #TeamCanada

Canada has achieved a grim medical milestone: the world's first successful heart transplant from a patient euthanized via MAiD. A 38-year-old man with ALS was lethally injected. Just seven minutes after his heart stopped, it was "reanimated," transported to the US, and transplanted. This marks a terrifying new frontier in "Organ Donation after Euthanasia" (ODE), where Canada is now a "world leader." The numbers are exploding: • 136 of 286 global ODE cases by 2021 were Canadian. • 5% of all organ transplants in Canada in 2024 used organs from the euthanized. Medical reports themselves warn of the coercion: Patients who feel they are a "burden" may now feel pressured to "do something meaningful" with their death. The desire to donate can become a driver for the request to die. We are normalizing a pathway where the most vulnerable are harvested to save others. This isn't just about one life-saving transplant; it's about the ethical cost to a society that creates a system where death becomes a utility.

Signs of growing fascism every day, with no apparent legal recourse or basic protection. Yet corporate Canada says we should listen to what the US Ambassador tells us, and do whatever’s needed to appease them—all to get a Sharpie-signed ‘deal’ that Trump can change any minute. /2
Bennett Haselton@bennetthaselton

Unbelievable. Outside the Portland ICE facility, a man and a woman were standing and talking to a pair of cops with shields when one of them draws his pepper spray and unloads it into her face. She was still crying out in pain several minutes later and had to be taken away to get medical attention.
