Celebration of Life for Bruce Bolen Saturday, May 2, 2026. at 2pm The Cookery Venue Down Under 1827 12th Avenue South, Nashville. There will be an Open Mic, so come prepared to share a favorite story. See prior post on Bruce's Heaven Graduation from 4.22.26.

We are sadden of the passing of our dear friend Bruce Bolen, due to cancer. Bruce has been a key part of The Cookery Team since our beginning in 2013. Without Bruce, it will be a little less loud, less musical & a little less funny. Celebration of Life to be announced soon.

Cookery students, volunteers & staff were out again last Sat w/ food/water + encouragement. Every Sat @ 9am. Plus every Tues, 11am-12:30pm, Love Thy Neighbor Hot Free Lunch, for those in need, in our Venue Down Under. Help setup-serve-eat w/ our neighbors. thecookery.org/donate

Grateful for Vandy’s Every Nation Campus Club joining us for our Feeding The Homeless. Every Saturday at 9am we hit the streets of Nashville & share food, encouragement & the love of God. Also, Open Hearts Nashville - this Saturday at 6pm in The Cookery’s Venue Down Under.

Due to weather conditions we are canceling Worship tonight to keep everyone safe. Instead, we are heading out this late afternoon to hand out cold weather items as well as food. There will not be Saturday morning feeding.
