The Gayap Effect is a partnership led by The Cropper Foundation with The Global Narrative Hive, Puentes and the #caribbeanclimatejusticealliance, made possible with funding from the Open Society Foundations and co-financing partner Caribbean Natural Resources Institute.

The Gayap Climate Maze provides a hands-on experience for participants, placing them in real, lived experiences and allowing them to truly navigate the climate crisis. It combines climate justice, community, and art in an engaging format from the Trinidad and Tobago team. 🇹🇹

This initiative is part of the ongoing Today Today, Congotay!  arts for climate justice project that prioritises the Arts in our efforts to raise awareness of climate justice issues in the region. 🌎

IGNITE CSOs has launched its Call for Applications for scholarships affording CSOs access to micro-credential courses in the areas of Governance, Financial Management, Project Management and Human Resource (HR) Management. 🏫📖

Our e-learning programme will commence in late January 2026 with the roll-out of our first two courses in Governance and Project Management tailored for CSOs. HR Management and Financial Management courses will become available in April 2026.✍️

Note: Special consideration will be afforded to under-resourced CSOs who will be eligible for subsidised access to ALL FOUR courses.

Together, they establish important steps in promoting a more proactive, self-regulated civil society sector. All interested CSOs across Trinidad and Tobago are invited to apply by January 20, 2026, for this opportunity for subsidised access to at least one of the four courses.

These select areas align with the Accountability focus of IGNITE CSOs, which has seen the creation of the National Accountability Framework (NAF) and an accompanying CSO Self-Assessment Tool. ⚖️
