I'm actually trying to do something even more ambitious: Create "cypherpunk principled non-ugly ethereum" as a bolt-on to the present-day system, in a way that's as tightly integrated and interoperable as possible, and then grow it over time, in the mean time making sure ethereum itself gains the cypherpunk and simplicity properties that just necessarily have to be system-wide (eg. censorship resistance, zk prover friendliness, consensus properties). Then, in 5 years (or maybe way sooner with AI coding and verification, who knows), we have an open pathway to turn the existing system into smart contracts written in the language of the new system if/when we want. Ethereum has already made jet engine changes in-flight once (the merge), we can do it ~4 times more! (state tree, Lean consensus, ZK-EVM verification, VM change)

vitalik should let the original ethereum die a slow and painful death by fragmentation (tempo, reth, l2s, app chains, institutions, etc) and rebuild it as a cypherpunk chain from first principles on risc v just to show who was the boss

It's not a scam, but I would say that anyway, right? Before the recent USTC price spike, the pre-registration dApp held over 30M USTC. It now holds around 17M USTC, indicating that users have successfully withdrawn. Withdrawals are open; anyone can test this themselves. A few due diligence datapoints to counter your I think it's a scam: 1. Ceramic (PlasticDigits) is a long-time open-source developer with years of public GitHub history github.com/PlasticDigits 2. CL8Y launched on March 1 at $0.001; Current price is $1.23 Over $500k liquidity Over $3.5M market cap When CL8Y launched, it just launched. No presales. No insider allocations. No gatekeeping. Then we were accused of, at worst, being scammers, at best, the memecoin would fail. 😃 3. CL8Y is now listed on a couple of tier-2 exchanges, meaning KYC was required; they don't list unknowns. 4. Ceramic launched CZUSD, a stablecoin, over 4 years ago. A couple of months after launch, an exploit caused the price to crash to $0.04. He stayed, he fixed it, and unlike UST, it's still a stablecoin; it's still here, alive and well. Do what you feel is right for you. His GitHub should be enough to tell you this is no scam 😎
