@Anonymous190711 Most Knight attacks follow this if they're not a whole party hitter: If you have the mantle, the attacks tend to prioritize the ally with the mantle for two hits, then become random. Random in the Knight fight usually picks between Susie or Ralsei, then Kris if S/R are swooned.

@TheCyVap @DINOSAURIAUTDR When I fight the Knight it feels random who takes damage. I've never done the fight without the mantle

does anyone know why they removed the target system in Chapters 3 and 4

@DINOSAURIAUTDR (An obvious exception to the random target thing is those that specifically target the whole party or have special properties, like some Knight attacks which target whoever has the Mantle first or those that ignore Kris when possible.)

@DINOSAURIAUTDR It had been kinda been gone since Chapter 2, but the primary reason I could see for it going away visually is: From Ch2 onwards, every bullet has its own random target when doing damage to allow for varying hits. I could see why the visual would be not the best idea there.

@sebdraws_ I personally feel like it's called that as a reference to this term. Makes a lot of sense given how things start to break down eventually as you're doing it, and you're exploiting stuff to do things you were never meant to.

I kinda dont like calling it the weird route, snowgrave route has much more aura, and also the name weird route for me is like the route where everything is in between like the neutral route

@glitch_draws05 The name "weird route" actually has some interesting implications which point to how the player is sorta doing stuff they shouldn't. It likely references a thing called a "weird machine" which is a term in computing where code can execute outside the original point of a program.

@Marin1441156 There's actually two official names as per in-game objects and scripts. Chapter 2 files have both references to "side_b" as well as "weirdroute", as shown below: Chapter 4 uses the same script names to verify when you're on the route, as well. (But mainly "sideb")

@abcdef40298820 Reason I think "back" is referring to "sideb" is cuz the whole page has to do with the weird route. All the links there, barring 5 since we don't know yet, refer to things that have to do with the weird route. But that's just my thought of course lol, yours is interesting too

@TheCyVap @YouNotGonnaWin personally it think "back" means like "deltarune is back" cause it took so long for deltarune 3+4 to come out after 1 & 2 I also think that 3 being large may be the indication that, as you said, without 3 most people wouldn't be able to do the route in 2

@abcdef40298820 @YouNotGonnaWin 3 being large imo means it's as important as 2 since it's what tells you that what's in 2 exists, that and I think the Mantle might be important later personally The page being called "back" i think refers to the in-file name of the route, "sideb", kinda like the BACK of a disk.

@YouNotGonnaWin slightly unrelated but why is it that 1: the website's name is "back" and 2: "3" grows to be the same size as "2" when you highlight everything?

@venturajsc I'm asking once more. Please remove the video I made from your channel since you keep removing the credit. It's extremely disrespectful to be stealing work from others and not even credit them properly for said work, and I would rather not have to contact YouTube about this.
