Mikey is 14. A Chihuahua with a bad heart and more fight in him than most people I know. He's doing great right now. Meds are working. Prognosis is good. He's happy. I'm the problem. I've sold everything I own to stay afloat. I'm unemployed, still recovering from a stroke and a ruptured disc, and completely out of runway. We've kept him stable through sheer stubbornness and the kindness of strangers — but we need help to keep going. This isn't about saving a dying dog. I had a minor stroke last year. And I left Germany to be with a women in Austria. Didn't turn out well. I had to sell everything I own and now have nothing left. Can't find a job for over a year. Mikey has a bad heart and needs meds daily. And I am stuck. That's the short version. I gave up my kind of secure life and I crashed really hard. I am 42 now.. and honestly do not know how next week will look like. This is the last month of unemployment compensation and then it is.. I don't want to think about it. Sorry. But you asked. Hope you are doing well out there.

@TheDanielGrothe Damn.. that sounds very hard. I hope your health is improving. I'm happy to hear about Mikey! Are the health issues improving? Is there any kind of work you are able to do? Turning that income around would really change things it sounds.

@robdogthetopdog It is a long story and it was a long road... I am not working and have no real income ... there have been health issues and other things. But yes, I am alive. And so is Mikey!
