Learned a while ago that people figured out how to modify the Spotify CarThing, really cool stuff! I'm using the DeskThing image, but I'm trying to understand how all of this works so that I can make my own stuff as a learning project.

@adamwlove_ Yup! It uses a different API entirely and also allows you to use either Windows Now Playing or any other audio source!

@ananayarora Yup pretty much! That's why I modded it. I don't know if I would've set out to make the DeskThing if it was anything but React under the hood. It's a fun little device to mess around with.

Just reversed Spotify Car Thing, and yes the whole UI is a React Web App
