Mystery solved! Couldn't figure out why the gas fireplace appeared to have bird poop on the inside of the glass. I tore it all apart to clean it and found 3 mumified birds, a mouse nest, tons of straw that was dragged in there. It was rather disgusting and also a massive fire hazard.

Today's lesson: Never trust anyone's work in your house. New garbage disposal was installed before we moved in. Couldn't get our dishwasher to drain. Thought it was this or that. Nope. Ended up being that the installer never knocked the dishwasher drain plug out out of the disposal.

Hey, @uhaul great service you have. Made a reservation online with no issues. Everything was good until I went pick up my truck, and I had an e alert. The e alert was for an accident that was caused by me, the damage was paid for on our credit card and supposedly settled. Was transferred 4 times and no one was able to clear it up. Why!!!!
