Kudos to the @doodles team for pulling off the bucket auction with only 23 ETH spent in gas in total across all bids over the 24 hour period. (Successful transactions and failures) Let's hope a precedent has been set for future #NFT launches on ethereum.

-solves gas issue
-introduces concentration issue (top bidders owning high %, probably would of happened through secondary market anyway)
-allows more of the revenue to go directly to the team and squeezes out resellers

There were people giving away free ledger wallets at NFTNYC. I know they were sealed in plastic but I dunno, I’d be a bit weary using it. I passed on them. Am I wrong?
