Dennis Itumbi's lengthy attack on Kalonzo Musyoka says more about the State House political mood than it does about Kalonzo.
If Kalonzo has "nothing to show" after 40 years, why is the government communication machinery spending so much energy discussing his documentary, his coalition, his running mate, his party, his launch plans, his allies and even his campaign slogans?
The truth is simple: people do not spend pages attacking politicians they consider irrelevant.
The panic is becoming visible.
President Ruto's team knows the opposition is the political machine that is sending him home. They know the ground is has rejected William Ruto and has embraced SKM.
They know the conversation has moved from whether @skmusyoka will run to how strong the alternative coalition will be.
And when even Rigathi Gachagua's camp continues to unsettle the political establishment from outside government, the nervousness becomes impossible to hide.
A documentary is not the story. The story is that those in power appear increasingly preoccupied with a man they claim has no influence.
If Kalonzo truly did not matter, they would ignore him.
Instead, they are watching, tracking, discussing and attacking him.
That tells Kenyans everything they need to know.

It is unfortunate and uncalled for any public official, to suggest that Kenyans should not be consulted, informed, or engaged on matters with potential implications for public health. Public confidence in health policy is built through openness, transparency, and accountability, not through dismissing legitimate public interest.
