@hodge_stick Pointing it out is getting boring. Not only does Labour walk any seat in Manchester with him standing but he also got 10 times the votes Hannah Spencer got in mayoral elections 2 years ago. The idea the greens are a challenge is bat shit nonsense.

@Smolassus Fireworks don’t benefit us, the argument that fireworks have a practical use to the same extent as cars is ridiculous and you know it is.
Even when fireworks are used in the most wholesome and well-intended way they still have large negative effects on the environment

£35K salary sounds alright until you work out what it actually costs you. You're not getting paid for 8 hours. You're selling your entire day. The commute. The lunch hour you can't use. The 2 hours on the couch recovering when you get home. Add it all up and your real hourly rate drops to about £10.58. The person who made your coffee this morning earned more per hour than you did. They just didn't have to sit through a team meeting first.
