@Issybeatz_ Wrong. I know producers that have music charted that use suno to create samples, melodies, vocal chops. These are guys who have been in the game 10+ years. You won’t lose to AI, you will lose to producers using AI.
English

The people that use Suno to make generative AI music are the ones that failed at making good music.
You arent ‘artists’. Ya’ll are lazy and think you’re creative because you typed a bunch of words into a prompt. If you want to use it as a tool to help your productions, sure I get it.
But don’t have the audacity to call yourselves a musician when there’s no production at all involved.
That’s a load of BS.

@twinhypeback @devontsr You literally just proved her point

@TheEchoProgram It's causing disease in its current form you dimwit lol

@bayeslord LLMs are not inherently unfunny. They are optimized toward the safest average of human expression its interacting with.
The problem is not that the machine has no taste. It is that the user (you) prompting, and judging it do not.
English

@PhilipProudfoot The irony is that AI did not replace your judgment. Your suspicion did.
English

@TheMG3D Major Japanese anime studios are already folding AI into their pipelines..not to replace artists wholesale, but to ease pressure inside an industry built on brutal deadlines and thin margins.
Adoption is not a question of taste. It is an economic inevitability.
English

@UniversallyCAPE No. no one thinks that. You just made this up to have something to post about. There are better and more real issues to take a stance on, no need to artificially create one

@omgsidewalks No “we” don’t, most people have better things to care about

drake dropped THREE albums and kendrick still #1 😭😭
Kalshi Music@Kalshi_Music
Kendrick Lamar's odds to have a #1 album this year spike to 55%
English

@DrizzyKilla456 The great thing about metrics is it doesn’t matter what anyone thinks. “Better” is subjective. The question “who is bigger?” Is objective. And the numbers don’t lie (unless you count Kendrick’s bots)
English

So you think nba youngboy is better than kanye west?
certifiedjared@KINGJARED300
Drake 988,860,287 Kendrick Lamar 88,091,402 😂😂😂

This whole “Numbers don’t matter” is a new cope. Historically, numbers always mattered in hip-hop.
rappers used to brag about how many records they’ve sold.
Numbers aren’t everything, but pretending they never mattered is revisionist.
PRINCE ANGELUS@PRINCE_ANGELUS_
Numbers don’t make you hip hop culture. That thinking in itself says it all. You can’t buy your way in

His fans treat rap lyrics as a source of intellectual stimulation. That is the ceiling for them. Wait until they discover books and lectures exist 😂
I†ACHI@erenwasrightt
His fans act like understanding his lyrics requires a PhD in literature .

Jay-Z and Kendrick never had a dominant year. 2001 belonged to Ja Rule. 2024 Drake was still the top selling rap artist.
doomstan1@mfdoomstan1
Most dominant years for a rapper in history: • 2003 50 Cent • 2015 Drake • 1996 2Pac • 2015 Future • 2024 Kendrick • 2001 JAY-Z • 2010 Kanye West • 2002 Eminem • 1998 DMX • 2008 Lil Wayne Who am I forgetting?

His own music is competing with itself. That’s not the L you think it is

Ad just like that...

English

@brokeastro2500 @KianaKuuipo Wayne sold 19.47 million records
Kendrick sold 9.4 million records
You’re right it’s not even close
