@SmokerBuddy Absolutely. Mr. Bungle was a great initial reference for creating Beetlejuice’s material. So were Secret Chiefs 3, Primus, Tom Waits, Zappa, Beefheart, Sammy Davis Jnr, System Of A Down, Louis Prima and the muppets.

Low key trip home for Thanksgiving was a great success. Time to get back to Vegas for big things. After many days of great food and good family time, went to see @BeetlejuiceBway with my mom on my last night in NY and I think it’s my favorite show I’ve ever seen on Broadway.

@jasonsweettooth @MrJoeIconis Sure. Unless you’re in a show that requires you to do a lot of stuff on your knees and you’re 45 and your knees hurt. Then it’s grief plus also a great feeling in your knees.

Theater artists go through a unique kind of grief after a show ends. It’s an ache and a sadness that is also wrapped up in the need to do whatever it takes to be in another show, knowing that you will end up feeling the same sense of loss the next time. And on and on forever.
