He'll have to chase less and whiff less, but the raw skills are there. A lot of raw power in a short sample last year.

I don't understand the big fuss. If the counter is that he "played hurt" then why take a player in the top 6 that was hurt last season? Acuña was hurt most of last season played in 95 games to Elly's 162 & still matched his power output. I think folks just obsess over the fact that he's electrifying & "fun" to watch run the bases. I can find my SBs later on

Wondering, do the Orioles or anyone else share my concern for Alonso with a big contract? Switching leagues? Might be a recipe for a slow first half.

Mayo is a great pick for third base. I think he will be better than Westburg.
Needs to cut down the K rate and use that bat speed to make more contact, and let's go.

@Jeremy3FL @TheEducator23 Same here, but I seem to be catching a lot of heat for preferring that alternative as well. If I'm picking at 6 I'm going Julio/Acuna or J-Ram all day. Everyone loves Statcast Data & hates high strikeout %s, but then see the 37+ bags and willfully spend top 6 draft capital on him
