I assume everyone has wondered what my earrings look like today. They are teeth, ok? 🧛🏻‍♀️

Me when my 4yo incessantly asks for 13 different kinds of food: will this never end? Me when my 12yo gives no indication whatsoever what they want to eat at any point throughout a 365 day period but for sure it's nothing I've ever made: will this ever end?

I am ready to flood feeds with an abundance of Halloween earrings starting today.

Tonight after taking off my makeup I looked at myself in the mirror and gave myself a thumbs up. It sounds ridiculous, but I haven't looked at myself in the mirror and given myself a thumbs up, or anything kind, in, really, really long.

I actually do love online therapy it's great. So is my hair. Sometimes.

My favorite thing about online therapy is obsessively trying to get my hair perfect because I can see myself the whole time and not really focusing on the content because my online therapy is about being adamant I look ridiculous all the time.

Me: I am brave, have done many brave things, and will continue to do brave things in days to come. Me (opening an air-sealed tube of dough): fuck no.

14: I started watching The Maze Runner. 14: it doesn't sound right if it isn't in plural. Me: The Mazes Runner? 14: you are awful. Transition doesn't remove the perfect jokes.

Buy little squishy mousy things at Spirit Halloween. Add inexpensive earring hoops to squishy mousies. Have new Halloween earrings.

New haircut, pasta hair clip, and I'm baking a lasagna. An absolute champion of life.

Truthfully, is it possible to ever learn how to do ponyhairs? I'm getting good reassurance that it's simply impossible and that it isn't just that my coordination is awful. Willing to accept that possibility too.

7 years ago today I thought if only I learned how to bake pie I'd be less anxious. Today, I can make basic pies, but assure you, I am still very anxious. I don't blame pie per se, but expect if people were to instead SEND pie, I'd be less anxious. I will report back in 7 years.

The magical kind of day where I just said "fucking door," to, well, a door. Can't wait to see what other kind of trouble things like my desk or my shoe get up to today. Being an adult is great!
