@Looters11 @David_N_Frank @TheCompanionApp The same in The Expanse. Capital ships are huge and slow while small shots like the Roci are not. The Expanse uses more powerful engines on torpedos and have powerful slow firing rail guns.

@Looters11 @David_N_Frank @TheCompanionApp BSG capital ships are slow high mass ships that aren't capable of rapid acceleration or maneuvering. I also like the slow torpedos and flak rounds. It shows the physics of accelerating mass with limited energy. It's completely different for high power to weight ratio fighters.
