Matt’s right you know. #footballindex traders aren’t just a ragtag bunch of gambling addicts. We’re a community of bankers, economists, lawyers, accountants, journalists, engineers, civil servants - you name it - and we’re not going to let this issue go away. Time for justice.

If the #FootballIndex issue isn’t resolved to a satisfactory level, thousands of people harmed by what’s unfolded will mobilise to expose our system of sham regulation. Confidence in the fairness of British gambling is at an all time low & this will be another nail in the coffin

PLEASE DON'T PESTER THE ADMINISTRATOR WITH QUESTIONS. It's been said already, but some people aren't listening. Administrators are paid hourly & whatever money is left in #footballindex's coffers will go towards paying them first. Let them get on with their job in peace.

By law, the primary objective of ANY administration is always the rescue of the company as a going concern. So when #footballindex claim their main objective is to pursue a restructuring, this is mainly a statement of the law & *not* an insight into what outcome is/isn't likely.

The core concept behind #footballindex is brilliant. And in theory, the business model should’ve been sustainable. BUT it was butchered by reckless & incompetent management. As long as existing users can be adequately compensated, I’d love to see FI reborn under new leadership

@DougDanger7 @FootieIndexAl @SkyNews I’m not saying all men are bad. Most of us aren’t. But every single woman I know in their 20s-30s feels unsafe when they walk alone at night. And that’s because they fear violence from men. So all I’m saying is let’s do the little things to make them feel safer.

An awful week on #footballindex. But the horrific #SarahEverard murder really puts things into perspective. Women shouldn’t have to change their behaviour just to be safe from men. As a community of (mostly) men, let’s all share a few things we can do to help women feel safer:

I think I speak for most people on here when I say that I don’t want #footballindex *as a concept* to fail. It’s brilliant & unique. What we need is ACCOUNTABILITY for the shocking management decisions that have left this product in the gutter & wiped out portfolios overnight.

I am still so confused. That’s why I’m calling on #footballindex to conduct an internal investigation into how company finances were allowed to deteriorate *so* badly that dividend cuts of 70% were needed. A report should be published on Twitter & the FI website before 5 April.
