Yes it’s harder to get your goth scene band booked when you have a live drummer because why would promoters fuss with that when they can easily have a duo on stage selling the same amount of tickets. And I don’t care.

@CORLYX_OFFICIAL Correct. As far as I've understood this is pretty standard for the entire live music industry. I know one pretty decent, yet unknown band who went for a tour with well established band. They paid 10k. Worth it? I doubt.

FYI most well established Goth Scene bands do not pay their openers, some even charge them, (buy-ons), we are in this place where we make a decent income w/ bookings so there’s just no way I’d accept that treatment, so it’s why you’ll prob never see us on tour with a bigger act

@CORLYX_OFFICIAL Yeah, and loops have been used by many artists. Nine Inch Nails, Portishead. Here its easier to see how it can be part of the artistic production process. I see no difference on using AI in similar ways as long as its been utilized as a tool, not a total replacement.

The irony of some “artists” getting mad at Ai art whilst dragging in loops and samples and sounding exactly like thousands of other artists…it’s fine if you’re just having fun or whatever but you are literally doing the same thing Ai is doing…🧵

@deluxemixing You're the one who is coming up with this premise that visual art wouldn't have worth. AI is a tool among other tools that is being utilized by creative people. Ignorance of the methods people utilize AI in their workflow doesn't justify such an extremist reasoning.

People who say they won't buy your album if it uses AI art would not buy your album regardless. They are the kind of people who want to control others and tell them how to think and what to do.

I've come to a realization that for everything to be in balance, everything would cease to exist. For something to exists, there is an inbalance. Universe is chaos and what sense we make of it, is only temporary. Meaning itself has always been meaningless. Point, pointless.
