Some places aren’t defined by walls or streets, but by the quiet recognition of belonging. A space becomes home the moment it reflects the rhythm of our soul and grants us permission to simply be.

The stronger your mental ‘immunity,’ the better you respond to stress, setbacks, and pressure — not just survive them, but perform through them.

Behind the Net – Episode 2: Resting Posture & Prep Work This project was built to pull back the curtain. Not just on what we train, but how and why we do it. Behind the Net takes you straight into the cage with us. Real athletes. Real moments. No scripts. Every clip is a window into the deeper work. Movement breakdowns, sequencing corrections, mechanical adjustments, mindset shifts. You’ll hear our language, feel the pace, and see firsthand how we challenge athletes to evolve. These episodes aren’t polished highlight reels. They’re raw. Honest. Educational. And for players, coaches, and parents who want more than surface-level content, Behind the Net is where the real development lives. 📲 Episode 5 is coming soon, only inside our App on FarmConnect If you want early access to every episode and our full library of drills, breakdowns, and docu-series, FarmConnect is where it all lives. Let this be your reminder: The best work happens behind the net.

Watching the Phillies and Tigers today reminded me of how fans talk about old-school boxing. You’ll hear it all the time. “Ali would destroy today’s fighters.” “Back then, it was real.” “Today’s guys are soft.” But those old-school fighters like Ali, Frazier, and Foreman were legends. Gritty. Durable. Tough in ways that matched what their era demanded. No cryo, no force plates, no nutritionists. Just raw will, endless sparring, roadwork in worn-out shoes, and iron lungs. They didn’t have what today’s fighters have, but they found a way. They owned their time. Respect is due. Period. That same respect should carry forward. Today’s fighters are mastering a completely different version of the game. The science, the recovery, the training, the talent pool have all evolved. Drop someone from the 70s into a modern training camp, and they’d be shocked by how much harder, faster, and more precise everything is. It’s the same in baseball. The game is tougher now. Pitchers are sharper. Defenders are more athletic. Scouting is deeper. Data is constant. And hitters? They’re not just swinging a bat. They’re solving one of the most complex puzzles in sports every single day. You want to give credit to the past? Absolutely. You were gritty. You adapted to the game your time demanded. You thrived in the system you had. That will never be taken away. No one today could recreate what you lived through, and that deserves real respect. But imagine if the generation before you looked at everything you did and said it didn’t count. That you had it easier. That it wasn’t real. They walked uphill both ways, remember? The game isn’t supposed to stay the same. It’s supposed to evolve. It’s supposed to get harder. And the people playing it now? They’re not soft. They’re just doing what it takes to survive in the most advanced version of the game that has ever existed. Different tools. Different demands. Same pursuit. Score more runs than the other team. That’s still the point. And these guys are doing it at the highest level the sport has ever seen.

Research has shown that the most resilient people anticípate challenges and build their emotional & practical resources during calm periods. This allows them to be better prepared when difficulties show up.

When I first started, I had to piece it all together; college classes, textbooks, trial and error. There wasn’t one place that helped me apply biomechanics, skill acquisition, or movement science directly to baseball. So we built it. FarmConnect isn’t just an app, it’s a resource I wish I had. Over 1,000 videos. Drills, prep work, docu-series, breakdowns. Categorized. Searchable. Portable. Built for coaches and players who want to understand and get better. All in one place. $13/month. 5-day free trial. Cancel anytime. If this is your path, this should be in your pocket.

It’s not easy being human. It’s not easy having emotions. But, when we can understand and process them, emotions can actually help us become the best spouse, the best parent, the best friend, employee, leader we can be.
