Have a bit of unexpected down time, so I’m going to grade all the state birds of the US. ALABAMA: the Yellowhammer, or northern flicker. Woodpecker; great at percussion. Weird tongue (thanks to @KatieGoldin for that fact). B+ so long as I don’t have to see its jam band.

A friend guilted me into watching an episode of Bridgerton and while I was diplomatic about it… there is a severe lack of actual bridges in the show.
