@hertamaxxing It came out during a bit of a sloggy point in the game for me. In between the main SU update+CW mode. I barely touched it. I'm going back now for the Jades after getting stronger teams, but yeah I ain't readin all the text. I'm just clickin buttons and collecting jades TBH.

@tiaradraws He's cool with a pinch of cute, and he has a fun personality in the anime portrayals. Gameplay wise, he's classically pretty strong, novelty of ghost type, and the rarity of being harder to get back in the day, making him more valuable. I just think he's real neat :)

@HannyahZ @Bryanneod237 Yeah gen 2 had bad level scaling, but HGSS also had a bunch of cool stuff added that the original games did not. More side content and a battle frontier, which is a fun replayable mode a lot of people like.

Hot take this game is overhated becuase its not by gamefreak. Yeah it was dumb to remake Dimond/pearl over platnium becuase those games were kinda ass but main critism of it is literally "its too faithful" which is stupid for a remake. It is supposed to be faithful.

A million games have branching paths depending on choices, or you can just make it a setting you pick at the start of a new save, and it's all just on one game card.

@ChimeraMialst @OllieDreamer It's literally easier than ever to complete a pokedex with only one version of the game. You don't even need to make an IRL friend, you can ask on online platforms you already go to, like... twitter.
And 3rd versions cut pokemon anyway so trading is/was still needed.

@TheFoochy @SuperSavajin Dunban's heart to heart with Melia at metal face's corpse doesn't really support this tho. According to Dunban, whilst Mumkhar was always unreliable, he did save Dunban multiple times. Sure, he ended up becoming a pos, but he wasn't a monster from the beginning.

I think this cutscene is very hampered by the fact that Shulk at this point knows Fiora is alive so it's obvious that his original bloodlust doesn't exist anymore. But character writing and story telling are different things and this was very good for the story to happen.

@SuperSavajin Nemesis/Fiora is a different case, because she introduces herself as an entity with more complex motivations going on, and is not really hostile. Mumkhar was a monster before becoming a Mechon, and he's the same after.
