This movie is an instant classic to me, and a pretty meta documentary of sorts engineered for the very problem it documents 9/10. Good luck, have fun, don’t die!

Iron Lung had some interesting visuals and I would summarize it in the words of a reaction I overheard leaving the theater: “I thought it would make sense in the end.” This movie is arguably a spiritual cousin of “A Serious Man” (cosmic horror edition). The blunt point is pointlessness, and you’re left in that state, trying to make sense. Not a satisfying film at all, but it’s honest and doesn’t pretend to be anything that it isn’t; or anything at all, leaving you with a fully blank canvass to paint any interpretation. 6.5/10. Most people will probably feel neutral at best about this movie, which would ironically mean this production did a great job.
