@cjmavfc Gallagher no way. He isn’t a defensive mid. Paolinha or Betancur would start over Lindelof or Bogarde. Gallagher wouldn’t get in the team over McGinn, Buendia, Rogers, or Tielemans. Digne and Cash are better defensively than Udogie or Porro.

@USSoccerColl Morris is now the only defensive midfielder backup for Adams. He is a lock. If you want Musah it has to be for one of the other midfielders.
Luna is only going to be helpful against Paraguay or Oz. He won’t help you win a game against Turkey or anyone in the knockouts.

I can't really argue with any of this. I think Luna brings more to the team than Aaronson. I know people will come at me for the MLS vs. EPL comparison. I have heard it already, don't need to hear it again.
I'd bring Musah over Morris, but I completely understand why it will not happen.

Berhalter set piece strength tempting and real argument for Adri Mehmeti - Gozo's profile increasingly is necessary, McGlynn cannot be ignored, and Luna would be the casualty of bringing McGlynn and Reyna. Aaronson's profile unique and offsets the perceived lack of work rate from other two
