Putin just dismantled the NATO fairy tale on Finland with ice cold precision. “What did Finland join NATO for? Did we have any territorial disputes with Finland? No! Everything had long been settled.” He didn’t stop there. “Why did they join NATO then? In the hope that everything here would collapse, and they’d swoop in and grab what they could. They’re already building a border along the Sestra River.” Then, with that signature dry St. Petersburg sarcasm: “I would make certain gestures and say a few things, but since I come from the cultural capital, I’ll refrain.” No bluster, just the facts. Here’s the question the entire Western client media refuses to ask out loud: Did turning Finland into NATO’s shiny new forward operating base right on Russia’s longest European border, make the Finns more secure… or dramatically less secure? Now that the've morphed into an existential threat by hosting NATO on Russia's border. For decades Finland lived in calm, stable neutrality with a settled 830 mile border and zero territorial friction. Then it rushed into NATO, doubled the alliance’s frontier with Russia, and suddenly Helsinki is building fences and hosting NATO troops. This of course was never about “defending” Finland. It was about turning a peaceful neighbor into a frontline provocation. Natural consequences don’t hand out one sided security guarantees. They hand out front row seats to the very confrontation you claimed you were avoiding. Finland of course didn’t buy peace and there was never the point beyond the ridiculous sales pitch. What it did buy is a frontline ticket and Russia just reminded everyone who actually controls the neighborhood.

Russia just dropped the hammer: Get your diplomats out of Kiev — NOW. The Foreign Ministry’s message is ice-cold and unmistakable. Moscow will strike decision-making centers in the Ukrainian capital if Zelensky’s regime dares to disrupt the May 9 Victory Day parade. No ambiguity. Maria Zakharova spelled it out from the podium, voice steady, eyes locked: the collective West can try to sweep Zelensky’s aggressive threats under the rug, destroy Soviet memorials, exhume soldiers’ remains and rewrite history all they want. But they are accomplices in the criminal plans of the Kiev regime. This time, she warned, self-preservation had better not fail them. Thr statement from Russia’s Defense Ministry and every step that follows must be taken with deadly seriousness. To paraphrase Dmitry Medvedev: Russia may well need to put animalistic fear into the Western European masters of puppet Zelensky. The message is simple. Kiev’s provocations on the one day Russia remembers its greatest sacrifice will not be tolerated. Kiev's European masters have been warned.

❗💥🇩🇪 Germany: AfD has won a mayoral election in Brandenburg for the first time! A candidate from the far-right party Alternative for Germany (AfD) has been elected mayor of a town in the eastern state of Brandenburg for the first time. In a repeat election in the town of Zehdenick, north of Berlin, René Stadtkewitz won 58.4% of the vote on Sunday. Stadtkewitz is the first directly elected full-time AfD mayor in Brandenburg, a sparsely populated state that surrounds the German capital. ⭐Germans want a complete change of the system and an end to mass migration & endless wars.

❗💥🇱🇻The Latvian Defense Minister, Andris Sprūds, announced his resignation following the crash of two drones near Rēzekne, which were reported to be Ukrainian, and damaged an oil depot. "I have decided to resign as Defense Minister... In recent days and weeks, we have faced serious drone incidents. Drones, foreign drones, should not threaten the safety of our people," Sprūds said at a press conference, which was broadcasted by the country's Defense Ministry website. ⭐It's extremely clear that he is being dismissed for the failed operation to cover the passage of Ukrainian drones into the Leningrad region🇷🇺. ❗️Because the airspace is closed for them from 19.02.2026 to 31.12.2026 precisely at the initiative of the Latvian Defense Ministry. ❗️Thus, the outgoing Defense Minister has directly admitted that he is dragging Latvia into a direct armed confrontation with Russia.

🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iran handed Washington a list of demands for ending the conflict that reads like capitulation for the US and Trump called it “totally unacceptable.” No groveling by Iran. No surrender. No dismantling Iran's nuclear program. Tehran’s formal response, sent through Pakistani mediators, is crystal clear: • Immediate, permanent end to the war on all fronts (including Lebanon). • Lift the illegal U.S. naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. • Full sanctions relief, release of frozen assets, and reparations. • Recognition of Iranian sovereignty and control over the Strait. • Nuclear talks? Postponed indefinitely. Iran keeps its enrichment along with the stockpiles. Minimal concessions to be discussed (not agreed to) after the war ends with meaningful security guarantees. Iranian Army spokesman Brig Gen Akrami Nia delivered the warning straight: further aggression will be met with “new tools and methods,” and any country still playing along with U.S. sanctions will face real difficulties transiting the Strait. President Masoud Pezeshkian nailed it on X: “We will never bow our heads before the enemy, and if talk of dialogue or negotiation arises, it does not mean surrender or retreat.” This is the empire’s nightmare. Accept Iran’s terms? Public, humiliating capitulation. After all the “Wall of Steel” bragging, the destroyer poetry, the threats — it would be an open admission that the blockade predictably failed, the Gulf isn’t theirs, and the owners of the Strait just dictated the terms (which are now harsher than Iran's pre conflict terms). Reject them and escalate? Iran has already shown it can shut down the world’s most critical energy chokepoint, absorb strikes, and keep hitting back. The price only goes up with new tools and new consequences (under water communication cables and new infrastructure targets) . There is no good option left for Washington. Only harsh but predictable consequences. Iran just reminded everyone who actually sets the rules in its own backyard and it isn't the US.

🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iranian marines looked straight at three US destroyers and delivered the message of the year. “Yeah go ahead and flee! Here is the cradle of the earth and the land of the Iranians, here is a piece of Islam.” No panic. Just calm, cold ownership as the boats cut through the water in waters the empire claims to control. This is the same stretch of sea where Washington’s “Wall of Steel” blockade was supposed to strangle Iran. Where Trump bragged about destroyers transiting “very successfully under fire.” Where the owners of the Gulf have spent weeks proving that steel walls sink when they meet resolve. The footage is raw. The words are final. Iran isn’t asking permission to defend its waters — it’s reminding everyone who actually owns them.

🇺🇸🇮🇷💸 The USS Gerald R. Ford — America’s $13 billion flagship supercarrier is steaming out of the Mediterranean right now, slipping through the Strait of Gibraltar and heading straight back to the United States. Official story for the Ford's problems? A “laundry room fire” that raged for over 30 hours in March, smoke damage that displaced 600 sailors from their racks, and the ship’s chronically cursed vacuum toilets that clog like clockwork, forcing expensive acid flushes just to keep the heads working. But the timing is no coincidence. This sudden withdrawal comes exactly as Iranian sources tell Tasnim the whole U.S. “deal” narrative around Project Freedom is pure spin and not serious. Tehran sees the pause for exactly what it is: a retreat dressed up as diplomacy. The truth is simpler and far more humiliating for the empire: the age of the supercarrier has gone the same way as the battleship. One well placed Iranian strike or even the credible threat of one and even the Navy’s newest, most expensive floating airfield has to turn tail and run. The Ford is heading home. Iran is still standing tall in its own waters. Natural consequences don’t care how many billions you spent on a ship that can no longer operate with shakedown impunity.

The US Air Force just went strangely quiet over Europe and West Asia. In the last 24 hours, American military aircraft airborne across the region have collapsed — from over 27 yesterday to just 7 right now. All logistics and tankers: C-17 Globemasters, a C-5M Super Galaxy, and KC-135 Stratotankers shuttling between Ramstein, Spangdahlem, Tel Aviv, Abu Dhabi, and Al Udeid. No combat birds. No surge. This sudden pullback in the sky hits hours after Trump announced he’s pausing “Project Freedom” convoys in the Strait of Hormuz while chasing a “complete and final agreement” with Iran. They flooded the airspace trying to look dominant. Now the traffic is thinning out fast. So much winning...

🇺🇸🇮🇷 The US just struck Iranian territory tonight. The whole ceasefire theater keeps getting exposed. Manipulating markets and no offramp are the reality. Explosions tore across Qeshm Island and the coast at Bandar Abbas as American forces hammered what they called launch sites. Air defenses lit up the night sky over western Tehran in response, while an unidentified object was tracked and engaged in the darkness above Sirik right at the mouth of the Strait of Hormuz. But according to Iranian reporting, Washington fired the first shot, attacking an Iranian oil tanker moving through waters the empire has tried but failed to illegally choke off. The IRGC answered the way a sovereign power defends itself: missiles slammed into American warships in the Strait. Only after taking those hits did the U.S. escalate again with direct strikes on Iranian soil. This is how the empire keeps restarting the very war it claims it wants to end. One illegal blockade which is a porous farce, one tanker hit, one act of aggression after another and all while pretending Iran is the problem. Tehran of course didn’t flinch. It responded with speed and force, then stood its ground when the counter punch came. The owners of the Gulf have made it crystal clear for years: these waters belong to them, not to distant fleets trying to redraw the map with illegal wars of aggression that only serve Israeli interests. Natural consequences don’t negotiate with blockades or ceasefire theater. They answer with resolve and Iran has plenty of both.

🇮🇷 Iran just seized the tanker Ocean Koi in a clean, special operation. Iranian naval commandos boarded the vessel in the Gulf of Oman — waters Iran controls after authorities determined it was actively trying to disrupt the country’s oil exports and national interests. State media, released footage of the boarding. The ship was escorted to Iran’s southern coast and handed over to judicial authorities. This is the same corridor where Washington keeps boasting about its “Wall of Steel” blockade and “world-class destroyers” supposedly dominating the Strait. While the empire plays word games and poetry about butterflies falling from the sky, Iran is quietly taking direct action against anyone messing with its lifeline. The owners of the Gulf don’t beg for permission. They defend what belongs to them.
THE ISLANDER@IslanderWORLD

🇮🇷🇺🇸 Trump just dropped another Truth Social masterpiece: “Three World Class American Destroyers just transited, very successfully, out of the Strait of Hormuz, under fire… great damage done to the Iranian attackers… boats went to the bottom of the Sea, quickly and efficiently… missiles… easily knocked down… drones… incinerated while in the air… dropped ever so beautifully down to the Ocean, very much like a butterfly dropping to its grave!” He calls Iran “led by LUNATICS” and threatens to “knock them out a lot harder, and a lot more violently” if they don’t sign the deal FAST. Then brags the destroyers are rejoining the “Wall of Steel” blockade. Beautiful. Poetic. Almost Shakespearean — if Shakespeare wrote fan fiction while the empire bleeds out in real time. Here’s the part Trump left out: this was the second round in days. Iranian media (Tasnim, Fars, IRGC sources) say the IRGC answered after Washington fired first on an Iranian oil tanker and then hammered those same three destroyers (Truxtun, Mason, Peralta) with missiles, drones and fast boats. Tehran claims hits and forced resistance. Washington swears zero damage and total victory. Same old script. And while the “world class” destroyers were supposedly doing victory laps under fire… where exactly is the USS Gerald R. Ford? The crown jewel carrier that was supposed to own these waters? Steaming home after a record deployment, plagued by laundry fires, broken lavatories and whatever else the Navy won’t admit out loud. The age of the floating fortresses is over. Iran just proved it with 1% of the budget. It's never a flex you should make that you avoided being sunk by an adversary spending 1 percent of your budget while giving you a bloody good beating in the process. The owners of the Gulf don’t need poetry. They control the map, the water, and the will. Trump can call them lunatics all day. The Strait answers with facts.

🇮🇱 Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich just said the quiet part out loud and didn’t even blink. He laid it bare: “Our enemies do not care how many terrorists we kill or how many bombs we drop on them. What matters to them is that we take territory from them.” He went on to spell out the real game — whoever stands up to Israel “loses,” and the punishment will be land taken, populations pushed out, Lebanon made “smaller,” and the map redrawn exactly the way the Greater Israel crowd always dreamed. No more pretending it’s about self-defense. No more hiding behind “security concerns.” This is raw territorial conquest at its most odious, delivered without a shred of shame from a sitting minister in Bibi's government. While the empire bleeds treasure and credibility trying to prop up this project in Gaza, Lebanon, and now the Strait of Hormuz, Smotrich is casually admitting what the resistance has been saying for years: the bombs, the body counts, the endless “mowing the grass” — none of it is the point. The point has always been the land. This is the Greater Israel project, unmasked and unapologetic. Out in the open for the entire world to see. Natural consequences don’t negotiate with open declarations of illegal conquest. They answer them and the resistance is already writing the reply in blood, steel, and unbreakable will.

🇮🇷🇺🇸 Three American destroyers just took a second brutal pounding in the Strait of Hormuz. The USS Truxtun, USS Mason, and USS Rafael Peralta came under what U.S. officials themselves called a fiercer, more sustained Iranian assault than the barrage they faced only hours earlier. Missiles, drones, and swarms of fast attack boats closed in tight enough that the warships had to unload everything they had — five inch naval guns, CIWS, Hellfire missiles from Apache helicopters, .50 caliber machine guns on deck — for hours just to hold the line. No damage reported on their side as of yet, they insist. Hard to believe.... This wasn’t the opening move. It followed Washington’s strikes on Iranian launch sites around Qeshm Island and Bandar Abbas, after the U.S. had already fired on an Iranian oil tanker trying to move through waters the empire has no right to blockade. Iran answered the way a sovereign nation defends its own backyard when someone tries to choke it off. All of this while the same administration swears a ceasefire (theater) is still in place and “Project Freedom” is paused for talks that never seem to materialize. The Strait — which carries one fifth of the world’s oil — isn’t some neutral shipping lane. It’s Iran’s front door, and the owners of the Gulf just reminded everyone what happens when you keep trying to kick it in. The empire keeps testing the same red line and keeps getting the same answer. Won't play ceasefire theater. They answer force with force and Iran just delivered round two.

Ukraine and Mali are 3,000 miles apart, yet Ukrainian terrorist groups or, as they call themselves, GRU intelligence operatives have been found working in partnership with jihadists on behalf of French intelligence and the military. This revelation is not new; it was reported by the BBC (bbc.com/news/articles/…) almost two years ago. So why is everyone acting surprised? The war in Ukraine is not a two-dimensional conflict. It is a complex proxy war that goes far beyond the simplistic narrative of NATO military bases in Ukraine existing merely to deter Russia. First and foremost, the war serves as an important proxy mechanism for Western intelligence agencies to move weapons into regions where they cannot legally or openly sell them. This is not unprecedented. The CIA has done similar things in South America and the Middle East, and now French intelligence appears to be doing the same in Africa. It also explains why we have heard so much about massive corruption in Ukraine. Information like this does not simply “leak” unless someone wants it to. For the past four years, we have constantly heard reports of corruption in Ukraine and claims that large portions—up to 40% of Western-supplied weapons end up being sold to terrorist groups in Africa, the Middle East, and even to cartels in Mexico and South America. Why does information that could damage Ukraine’s image in the eyes of the public keep surfacing? Perhaps because many Western nations are less concerned with what actually happens to Ukraine and more interested in using it as a deeply corrupt hub for funneling weapons around the world. It is actually a perfect scheme. France, for example, does not necessarily care about Russians in Africa as much as it cares about losing influence and access to resources. France has long depended on African resources for its economic power and cannot afford to lose its grip on the continent. Historically, France has supported coups and conflicts to maintain its influence in Africa. France receives a significant portion of Mali’s gold exports. Although France itself has virtually no domestic gold production, it holds approximately 2,437 metric tons of gold reserves, making it the world’s fourth-largest official gold holder. What is happening in Africa and the presence of Ukrainians there should therefore come as no surprise. France cannot openly operate in certain areas or directly arm jihadist groups, but weapons supplied to Ukraine can be redirected through unofficial channels. Ukraine has become a convenient intermediary for supporting armed groups in regions where France is losing influence and control over key resources. This is one reason why Macron has not pushed harder to end the war in Ukraine: the junta in Kiev has become an important partner in maintaining French influence abroad through indirect means. The danger, however, is that intelligence services believe they can continue supporting extremist groups without consequences. History has repeatedly shown that terrorist organizations do not remain loyal to their sponsors forever and that ordinary civilians ultimately suffer the consequences of these policies…
