Honestly just hearing that this will run off cheap hardware like a graphics chip tells me that it's not gonna be 1,000$ if anything. I'm assuming they want compete ahead on the RAM crisis meaning they are probably avoiding hardware like Graphics cards that are affected by this shortage.
so its going to a console/PC experience but with the compromise of hardware while maintaining a AAA experience cause from what I looked this chip can fucking run cyberpunk, Hogwarts Legacy and Monster hunter wilds.
so I genuinely do believe its going to be in the low bar I hoped the steam machine was gonna make into being a beginner PC if anything. if this is gonna cost 400-500 dollars with that graphics chip, ya boi is deffinitly getting one.
I'm gonna get physical games for it, I am gonna take advantage of the feature that will copy disks to digital so I can have old games in my microsoft library like the entire Gears series for example.
if anything this will get the hype the steam machine should've got, I'm sure the 500$ price model that I am speculating here will also benefit microsoft into selling more computers and get more people into PC gaming with access to steam.
I wouldn't want it to be 1,000$ because the quantity of selling this in cheaper price for the specs it has is gonna sell much more than the steam machine because no way is it gonna cost 1,000 with how thought out the specs are.

@RyugamiSetsuna Honestly the building blocks in this game are nothing like monecraft for sure and will take some getting used too, buildings will have more thought out designs in this game in comparison to what only looks good in your head

@Sheepsidian Hot take: Gen 5 was the last good game they made. Each one has been steadily worse since then. Gen 5 was also unironically the best game they made, and a lot of people are unfortunately blind to that.

Yeah I agree, and even the eletric gym in BW2 had lyrics too, this scene in sword and shield is one of the reasons why pokemon needs vocie acting, like you see piers's lips moving, he's supposed to be in a lead singer backround but you don't hear any audio.
The fact its being brought up again years later is embarrassing of nintendo

Roxie is a lyricist and lead guitar in the punk band "Koffing and the Toxics." Both English and Japanese versions of the game had minor lyrics, which helped make her far more standout as a character than just her personality alone. You don't even need VA, but there is no actual substance to Piers as a rock star when his whole shtick is stomping off-beat while mouthing lyrics that don't exist. Prior to Gen 6, they tried. They cared. Gen 5 is by and large disliked by players because of the visuals, but it's the most brilliant generation of them all. So brilliant that they made sequels to add onto the lore of the generation. Each new iteration now feels like they're experimenting with the concept of minimal effort/maximum profit, and this is proof. Gen 8 is about a decade and a half from Gen 5 and there's FAR less in the realm of addition to the worldbuilding.
