@mariannehere Not necessarily true. You can have a high floor price but what good is it if no one buys? In terms of provided value, is what is tied to the community and/or product that fuels the increase in value in reference to floor price.

Everyone focuses on acquisition in NFTs Then wonders why they can't maintain a floor price. How can you maintain a floor price by only organizing gartic games and movie nights? Retention is being heavily neglected. Would you like to read content about some examples that could help maintain excitement within a community post-mint?

The fundamentals haven’t changed for NFTs. Your founder isn’t a failure. But the game has changed. Your assets are illiquid. In a pumping crypto market that’s as bad as being sidelined. Right now btc and alt coin exposure is more appealing than NFTs. That’s why capital is flowing from the cartoons to the coins. But the hard truth is that we’re to blame for capital flowing out of jpegs and not being lifted up with the rest of the crypto market. We built a culture for solana and Ethereum NFTs based purely around the floor price going up. We expect utility. And it’s only a good utility if it makes us free money. I’ve seen multiple people say that the success and value of a project is directly correlated to its floor price. And this is the exact reason why most floor prices are down on Ethereum and Solana. At the end of the day the only thing that gives your NFT value is it’s cultural significance. If you build a culture around the speculation of your floor price going up and holders receiving free money then when things get rough you don’t have any culture left. Ordinals collections are shining right now because they weren’t built around false promises of utility or up only floor prices. They’re built around appreciation of the chain, the technology and the collections. They have real culture. If you are an NFT founder on Solana or Ethereum stop trying to use the floor price or free money as a tool to make the holders appreciate your project. Focus on building a real culture
