I don't usually do this, but my good friend @jonmacdonald and his team at The Good are launching their new tool on Product Hunt today and it's worth your time, especially if you work in marketing or run customer research programs. Here's the TL;DR... Clipses.ai is an AI-powered customer research tool that lets you quickly analyze hundreds of customer interviews and extract the most important insights into shareable clips and commentary. If you've ever led a customer research effort, you know how time consuming it can be. Recruiting, vetting, (re)scheduling, and interviewing are hard enough...and then you still need to spend literal weeks of your life rewatching recordings or analyzing transcripts just to earn your right to present your findings to the leadership team. Clipses removes all of that administrative overhead and allows you to focus on what you're uniquely qualified to do. And it's built by a team that has been running research projects for 7-9 figure companies for over a decade. A lot of AI tools are just smoke and mirrors. Things that you could build yourself in an afternoon with a little patience, a few APIs, and a custom Claude skill. This isn't that. This is an example of AI done right. They've used their tens of thousands of hours of hands-on experience actually running research programs to build a highly specialized product that's excellent at one specific type of work. You won't get the same type of results running some kind of "DIY" process in Claude. I promise. So, if you know you should be doing more customer research (tip: you should) but the time investment has been the primary factor holding you back, you definitely need to check out Clipses. And if that's not you, I'd still be forever grateful if you could spare 60 seconds and toss them and upvote and a comment on Product Hunt. Check it out here: producthunt.com/products/clips…

92% of SaaS leaders say they're satisfied with their visibility into the first 30 days. But, only 24% track drop-off points. The same gap showed up everywhere in our research: confidence outpaces data. Get the full report: na2.hubs.ly/H06QBkV0

"Heavy feature usage" sounds like a good retention signal. In our client work, it wasn't. What predicted retention was whether the features a user touched actually matched what they were trying to accomplish. na2.hubs.ly/H06z2Pv0

Free trial, freemium, reverse trial: not interchangeable. Each one runs on different psychology and creates different failure modes in the first 30 days. Pick the wrong one and you build an acquisition engine that undermines retention. na2.hubs.ly/H06yNBQ0

Your trial cohort is not a single audience, and the users most likely to convert are sending you signals from day one. Here's how to find them, understand their intent, and build an onboarding experience that responds to what they're trying to do. na2.hubs.ly/H06yNXR0

In a product-led growth model, your product is your primary sales tool. The trial isn’t a supplement to your sales process. It is the sales process. That means the first 30 days carry more commercial weight than almost anything else you do. na2.hubs.ly/H05zkkS0

We’ve saved the best -- for one of the last spots. Literally. @thegood is respected and admired as a pillar in the world of experimentation. And Natalie A. Thomas - our CRO MVP - is a force to be reckoned with. We first stumbled upon her work when she talked about verb scoring for product monetization, and we couldn’t unsee the framework… Ever. Natalie & @jonmacdonald are faces & voices that have shaped Convert’s journey for years. In 2025, Natalie dove into an MBA program and her crystal clear aha moment is: “There are many things I've learned by doing that others already had frameworks for. Take pricing, for instance. Economists have some simple and elegant rules for pricing built on unit economics. I was handed a decision tree in econ class that summarized something that took me way too long to learn on the ground. So my learning is that if something feels hard, ask an expert. There's probably a framework that will simplify your life and save you a headache” We take your advice to heart as well, Natalie. Also, thank you for making us warm and fuzzy with this feel-good moment: “We just onboarded a new client, and the Convert to Webflow integration was so easy and seamless that team members checked in with me to ask, "Is that really all there is to this process?" [Shared by Katy Solovewicz, Technical Lead of Frontend Development and A/B Testing] Yes, integrations are meant to be this simple. And yes, SaaS partnerships can feel like a team has your back. Working with The Good has made us an expert in *this* sentiment. Ask us… We’d be happy to share. ;)
