War is planned long before it begins. Observing power, conflict, and decisions.

Kurt Campbell sounded genuinely disappointed. And honestly, that says a lot. For nearly two decades, Washington saw India as one of its biggest strategic successes. A democratic counterweight in Asia. A trusted long term partner. Something both Republicans and Democrats invested in. But then things changed very fast. The moment India chose its own national interest on Russian oil and strategic autonomy, the relationship suddenly became transactional. Tariffs, pressure tactics, public remarks, even attempts to bring back India Pakistan “mediation” narratives during Operation Sindoor. That hit trust more than any trade dispute ever could. India was willing to partner with America. But not at the cost of becoming dependent on America. And maybe that is what Washington is finally struggling to accept. Also the closeness of USA to Pakistan played against India.

The West always knew India had the potential to emerge as a major global power. Pakistan was often used as a pressure point to keep India strategically tied down through constant instability and conflict. Russia, despite its own compulsions and balancing acts with the US, has largely behaved more like a dependable ally when it mattered. That contrast is becoming harder to ignore.

There was a Greek kingdom for roughly 200 years in what is now Pakistan.

🚨 Nearly 50 IAS and IPS officers reportedly bought ~5 acres of land near Bhopal in 2022 for around ₹5.5 crore. Then came a ₹3,200 crore bypass project barely 500 metres away. Then the land use changed from agricultural to residential. Now the same land is reportedly valued at ₹55–65 crore. This is exactly why people lose faith in the system. Politicians at least face elections every few years. But bureaucrats remain embedded inside the system for decades, regardless of which party comes or goes. The real permanent power structure in India is not political. It is bureaucratic. And if even a fraction of this is true, imagine the scale of the rot that never gets exposed. India talks about becoming a superpower. But no nation becomes a superpower when insider networks, influence and administrative privilege become tools for wealth creation. The PM speaks of transformation. But the biggest obstacle to India’s rise may not be outside the country. It may be inside the system itself.
