The very people who introduced us to religion and speak so passionately about its fulfillment are the same ones whose actions make faith difficult to hold onto. When what they do fails to reflect what they preach, it naturally leaves room for doubt and compels us to question

I know one simp celebrity that got lucky. Although he worked hard eventually to level up. But he used her family as a launch pad from poverty. That's an exception. One thing I have observed, when a poor man marries into a rich family, the wife is almost always not beautiful.

@educatedtug01 Even if I were marrying my own sister, I’d still want a prenup. People really underestimate human nature. Anyone can change for reasons you may never fully understand. It’s not about lack of trust, it's about being realistic. Prevention is better than cure.

If you’re asking for a prenup before marriage, you already don’t fully trust the person. Marry your best friend, someone you connect with on every level, not someone you’re preparing legal exits for before the marriage even starts.

@TheOdin_II You're speaking facts sir. Twitter is not real life and most men are hypocrites. Some of these women came through for most of them when their own male friends turned a blind eye.

Why do you all get so triggered by the simple observation that many young men rely on women for support during their university years? Let’s be honest: at some stage in life, almost every man has benefited from the kindness, generosity, emotional labour, or yes, sometimes the foolishness, of women. Whether it’s a girlfriend who cooks for him, covers bills when he’s broke, helps with assignments, provides emotional support through tough times, or even a female friend who goes out of her way to look out for him, these dynamics are incredibly common. Especially in university, or other higher institutions where many guys are away from home, figuring out adulthood with limited money and maturity. Some survive (and even thrive) largely thanks to the women in their lives stepping up. I’m not pushing any “agenda” here. I’m not saying men are weak or women are obligated to carry anyone. I’m simply stating what I’ve seen, heard, and lived. Countless men quietly admit this in private conversations, the ex who paid rent, the situationship that fed him, the mother or sister who sent money, the female classmate who shared notes and encouragement. It’s part of growing up. Relationships, even imbalanced ones, often involve one side giving more at certain seasons. You can deny it as much as you want. You can call it misogyny, misandry, simp-talk, or whatever label makes you feel better. But reality doesn’t care about your discomfort. These patterns exist across cultures and generations. Pretending they don’t doesn’t make them fade off, it just prevents honest conversations about personal responsibility, maturity, and what healthy interdependence actually looks like. Men need to own their part: become independent, build discipline, and stop leaning indefinitely. Women need to guard their energy better and not mistake temporary provision for genuine partnership. Both sides benefit from truth over ego. It all has to be said. 🤷‍♂️

@jon_d_doe That is how it should be. Marraige is is not just about two people coming together, it's more about two people building something together and building it from foundation makes it strong and last longer, but sadly our generation is driven by the wrong things.

Birds of a feather flock together. She and her husband should fight their way out of poverty. That way, their marriage is guaranteed to last longer and be largely peaceful. End.

@jon_d_doe Na wa oo, so we should recycle the poverty within the poor and riches within the rich 😒 🤔

When you become rich, there's what we call "signature" Your signature is who and what you are 90% physically. That is why: you would always see Davido on low-cut You'd always see Peter Obi on black dresses You'd always see Tinubu on his ♾️Cap You'd always see Neymar with Galaxy hairstyle You'd always see kwankwaso on a red cap You'd always see Diego simeone on black attire You'd always see Tacha with Perfume

Go to universities and higher institutions and see how many female students are quietly helping their broke boyfriends survive. Using part of the allowance and stipends their parents sent for them just to support a man they love. Buying food. Paying transport. Sending urgent transfers. Helping with handouts and projects. Even covering bills when the guy is stranded. You all know this but hardly talk about it because you are too used to painting women as people who only collect from men. 🤷‍♂️

Any married woman that says if her husband cheats, she would cheat back, has already cheated on her husband. Either in marriage or while they were dating. She just wasn't caught. Pay more attention to what women aren't saying than what they're saying. End.

They don't know. They're looking for women that would love them and take pity on them because of all the sacrifices that they're making. Time would tell.

@jon_d_doe Agba, Some men are just weak and it pains me to the bones. They will never learn from your teaching probono. If there’s one thing I admire about some women , it should be their ruthlessness towards weak men. I pray people learn. My brother is in the same soup

@Teeniiola If you pay attention to what she’s not saying, you’ll realize she’ll still stand by him if it ever comes to that. The fact that she’s even thought about it shows how deeply she loves and cares for him. She’s simply hoping he changes, so it never gets to that point.
