Hawkwell Athletic FC

As usual our dedicated coaches turned up for Soccer School yesterday with a variety of fun and engaging games and training drills ….but it seems the impromptu ‘can-you-balance-a-football-cone-on-your-head’ game was the one that our aspiring young footballers enjoyed the most!

We know it's July, but sadly, given the weather forecast (lightning and heavy rain) we've taken the tough decision to cancel our Wildcats, Soccer School and All Training at Apex tomorrow.  We figure our wonderful coaches have earned a day off anyway!

Congratulations to our Club Treasurer Steve Dowding for receiving a 20-year long service award from Essex FA at their awards evening last night. Apart from bean-counting, he does so much for our great club. #grassrootsheroes

We are setting up next season’s new U7 and need a couple more players to make another team up
